I don't recommend to repair a motherboard because it is the heart of the rig. If you need to then take it for a diagnosis to see whether it can be repair.

XPS 13 or Hp spectre x360

Z5 in terms of customisation and better cooling and while S5 has the pcie slot for SSD and look more for professionals if i'm not mistaken.

No, stand alone SSD + HDD would be better. SSHD just cache the frequent used files/programs and also the small capacity of the SSD cache but would be better than normal HDD.

SSD > SSHD > HDD

Err, i remember Z5 cooling beats S5 even with triple heatsink and fan IINM.

The RU. You can play fine but with reduce setting as iris pro 5200 similar to 650 gt and 750 gt DDR3 variant.

Check out Q3 also 1.9Kg.

Compared to the RU. The CPU will be lower but the GPU capability will increase quite a lot.

Both do offer good after sale service.

Z5 is 15 inch while 7447 is 14 inch. Obvious that Z5 and 7447 will be heavier than the RU.

Also, you can game both with good setting and resolution with 7447 and Z5.

Not to mention Z5 has one of the best cooling solution.

It has the same CPU i7 variant if i'm not mistaken and Y50 has the better GPU GTX860m/960m > GTX850 of 7447.

Lenovo so far the cooling is good, keyboard is good (From what i've heard). While the screen 15 inch is bad (From user complaints).

Do make some time to check out the laptop at the store to make up your mind.

After sale service i have no idea good/bad if your lucky i suppose.

Can game both Dota 2 and CSGO at respectable setting and resolution.

it is almost the same.

With the 950m gives a slight performance boost compared to 850m.
Around 4 percent boost for 950m.

Illegear with one of the best cooling system next to D5 ( ).
Inspiron also not bad with the good after sale warranty.

If you game alot then Z5 would be better because of the cooling system and has a better GPU.
If all around usage and less gaming then Inspiron.

Can't go wrong with both since both offers good after sale services

Left with Dell XPS 13 or increase budget abit to get the Illegear Q3 or RU 14 or even HP spectre 360.

Since virtualization. Do increase the amount of RAM.

Also, do bear in mind most ultrabooks has soldered-in RAM so be cautious in choosing one.

As for processor and RAM, the Core M processor is on par with laptop i3 and i5 U models so for normal usage it is fine. As for RAM standard (For me anyways) is 8Gb as of now. 4Gb is sufficient but if you are the kind who likes to open multiple tabs and programs then the more RAM is better.

I heard window 7 driver is more stable than window 8 but not sure. In the end free upgrade to windows 10 anyways.

I'm using a touchscreen 15 inch laptop and it helps on the days when i forgot to bring my mouse along. Touchpad not so use to it.

Ah, forgot about Apple and Microsoft.

Yes, but pricey and only useful if you use their in build application or build programs for IOS if i'm not mistaken. Can use parallels to boot windows but recommended with good specs.

Surface Pro 3.
Basically laptop in tablet form and also pricey. Keyboard not that good though and need to add extra for it. Lacking in ports. This are the ones i know off.

No review of how is the cooling system.
But yea it can do fine with CSGO and mid games.

Spec wise Y50 and G551JW >> GL552.
