HI to all FUTURE BUYER of ILLEGEAR PERFORMANCE laptop).
I just wanna give a quick review regarding this Superb company.

I bought my 2nd gaming laptop with them 1 year ago. Recently, i got a problem with the laptop which it always shutdown suddenly. Then i contacted Illegear support team. My Problem solved within less then an hour meeting them.

What a superb service from the ILLEGEAR support team. icon_rolleyes.gif I dropped a report to their team member in January, but i rarely online, so i delayed it until march. LOL.. but hey, they straight away contacted me and arrange a suitable day for me to bring my laptop to be checked. blush.gif

What happened was, i received a totally awesomely awesome (not to much exaggerate rite? LOL) service from them. We met at the Plaza AUG if im not mistaken. I forgot already the place name because im not from PJ. Waited just for 15minutes, then he arrived in a full ILLEGEAR uniform. Nice Uniform Man!!!! Just Like Their SERVICE and LAPTOP.

I told him all the problem i faced, then he tried everything he could do. We ran several system and it seems like no problem. Then when he opened up the laptop to check the thermal paste, then we found up the problem already. The thermal paste was hardened and that was the main problem actually. So, i help him to clean up the thermal paste and he did reapply the thermal paste for me. He did it in front of me and i can say that, he is a very skillful technician, i mean a very professional technician regarding ILLEGEAR laptop.

So, guys, i just wanna say that, the ILLEGEAR service is totally SUPERB and AWESOME. No other brand can beat them. Maybe DELL? i Think, this one is much more better and FRIENDLY.

All in all, i would say that, please do buy laptop from them IF!!!
You are looking for a HI-END performance laptop and A VERY SUPERB AFTER SALE SERVICE... Yeah.. now i can play game that i loved very much.. rclxm9.gif

Congrats ILLEGEAR.. Hat off for you guys. notworthy.gif Keep it up!!!

It's easy, just unscrew the 2nd HDD bay and plug the SSD.

i'm not talking about screwdriver

i mean when installing the drive, should i use any of the provided dampers or screw to secure the drive, or just sliding it into the slots is enough

You should use the dampers and screw to minimise movement and hold it in place.

Try to search for the guide on the net on how to do it.

Remember to search for the Clevo Model of the RE-15.

I didn't use any dampers. Just slot it in. Works fine till today. If the drive is screwed up, I can always claim for warranty. laugh.gif
