me too.. love my note3... a while back got hang/restart episode but all fixed... drop 1000 times bottom chipped but still working like charm... ohhh, i did change the batt once, now have to charge 2x a day

Plaza Low Yat? Can't recall correctly. Either on the 3rd or 4th floor. I may have posted about it in this thread earlier. Do a search for it. Else, you could walk around quietly on both floors and you should see a distinct repair shop that advertises fast screen replacements. Sorry, can't be more help than that.

my phone can't seem to receive good signal for my sim card... it's almost zero bar or sometimes 1 bar...so the issue is super weak signal reception, almost none most of the time... anyone fix this type of error before? if yes, how much?

If possible, i'd like to fix this phone and keep it alive... i have done the factory reset... still the same issue...

Hi K3vin.. ... Still on the issue huh.. ROM change no work? How about flashing a different modem? I'm running the Aspire C9 Pro ROM.. If the various flashings still don't resolve the network issue, then it's an hardware issue and have to send to shop.

Actually it is different phone.... lol... the one I asked earlier was note 5.... note 3 seems to have same issue too...

Could it be that you're at a blind spot or there's some interference affecting the signal?

Possible.. or even a bad SIM card.. I've suffered a bad SIM card before and had to change it to regain usage.. Though I'm going to assume that he's smart enough to have tested both phones with different SIMs either from the same telco or ideally, from a different telco.

no... i have like more than 5 sim cards for unifi and more than 6 phones... in fact i tested on a cheap nokia ol 'skool 3310 type phone and i got full signal!

only 2 of my older phones (note 3 and note 5) having issue with either no signal or just 1 bar of signal...when other phones when i put side by side...can easily get 3 to 4 bars of signal...at the very same spot....

not sure if older phones...their performance of the chip signal can degrade a lot.... somehow love this note 3 and not willing to let it go... i repaired the charging port and power button before this...now if possible wanna repair the signal issue and keep it going ...

else hopefully no need to say to my Note 3 yet...

I'm still using my Note 3 as primary phone, already replaced battery twice (Stock battery > Momax > Pisen (current)).
I have few problems with this phone:
- After install/update app from Play store, phone may auto-reboot
- From fresh boot-up with Samsung logo appear till loading the desktop screen will take nearly 3-5 minutes.
- Sometime may experiencing lost GPS satellite signal, especially on Navigation app (Waze, Google Map, HERE), IM (Whatsapp/Telegram), Social Networking app (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google+).

Planning to get a new phone, thinking should take Pocophone, Note 9, Mate 20X or Honor View 20.

I suggest you first flash a custom ROM and see the wonders... Matter of fact, flash a few.. test and see which flavor you prefer.. I'm still rocking the Aspire ROM. Have zero GPS issues or slow booting times. I'm holding out for the Note 10 though.. Given how fast the note 9's price dropped after just a couple months.. Won't be pre-ordering.. Just wait till next year to upgrade. Can keep Note 3 as another backup phone..

If it not because of knox 0X1 issue, I would have already flash to another ROM.
Company App require us to keep original ROM on phone without root / flash, else it will not work.

**Just found out from Google that Samsung already stop using Knox from Dec 2017 onward.

Note 10? Wow... then have to wait till 3rd / 4th quarter of 2019.
Once I have new phone, will begin flash Note 3 with custom ROM~

I doubt your company app checks for and or requires Knox to work. Root-less device? Most likely and that can be fairly solved with Magisksu. Tis like most financial or security sensitive apps that refuse to run on rooted devices. Besides, there are a few custom ROMs out there that can be installed without root and they work just fine. I've rooted from day one and so far so good.. Can use all the apps I need...

Yup, Note 10 should drop in Samsung typical fashion by September. But I won't grab it then (well unless pre-order deal is too good to pass up).. But will wait til next year to get it. So it's still me and my trusty Note 3 till then.. Knocks on wood.. Ah the S2, that was my first Samsung Galaxy device.. Memories..

Finally surrendered and bought a xiaomi mi max 3 to replace my Samsung note 3. Now that I don't abuse it daily equipped my zerolemon 10k battery the darn thing stays on standby for weeks. Gonna factory reset the note 3 soon and flash the latest stable custom Rom. What's recommended now? What I'm looking for is stable, no lag and as few bugs as possible Thank you all sifus for all the support
