Thanks bro. Did the rom flash again last night. This time i used 5.0 - 1 version before the last update and disable auto update. So far issue slightly less.

Also rooted the phone using kingoroot pc version. Gonna try the custom version but i think u need a sd card but now the phone not reading the sd card

You are welcome.. That's how I've been storing my backups. No need to think about running out of space on SD card. Also easier to transfer the files onto the PC for safer storage.

Hi, my wife note 3 has been hot n draining battery power for these few days. Battery change 3 months ago. Internal memory almost full. I have delete some of the apps but it couldn't free much of the memory. What should I do to check the phone?

Firstly, check the apps running on the phone. Make sure there's no rogue app that's simply ramping up the CPU power. That'll cause it to overheat and drain battery faster. I've experienced such before and that was the culprit. I updated my Magisk Manager app and it was incompatible with my ROM and so upon launch/reboot, it'll run and just keep using up to phone's power and casting lag. An uninstall and reinstall of previous app version + ROM dirty flash solved it for me.

Edit: Internal memory filling up is no good. Get a higher capacity microsd card and transfer media over. Always have a couple GB free of internal memory for the OS to play with.

That's an insane price for replacing the Note 3 screen.. What, they think it's a Note 8 screen and they are Samsung SC? .. Here in KL (Plaza Lowyat), I believe can be fixed for RM2XX or even lesser depending on the shop.

I've had a similar issue with a Note 2. Screen died after one too many drops. But phone still works. So bought a micro USB to HDMI cable and connected it to a TV. Using pre-installed airdroid to backup files. To unlock and to navigate the screen while commected, pray that the digitizer still works. Cuz (and this is a plus for Note series) in my case, the LCD went kaput but the SPen and digitizer plus it's flex cable were alive. And so, I'm able to watch that white dot move across the TV screen, while I hover over it. Can tap to unlock, etc.. I was able to backup and transfer data to another phone.. The Note 2 here was waifu's..

I've still got the cable and can let go to you, if you want.

Found this rom in the morning and already flashed to my phone.

Basically, it is a rom from phonehive with S9 applications installed.

i just got a used note 3 in june..

reflashed stock andriod.

main use for it.... samsung SIDESYNC..
connect to laptop, and mirror apps for development.

and the MHI is great on HDMI projector.

Still with my note 3...cant move on..love the super amoled screen and all features
