QUOTE(aromachong @ May 6 2015, 11:59 AM) did a testing just now.. switch my digi sim card to A5 galaxy no such problem Dude... Its very likely just a telco problem.. Network coverage issue on your end or on the other party's end. Perform a factory reset first (XME Build) and if still in doubt, send it in for warranty claims. After all, you couldn't stop going on and on about buying an SME set.only happens in note 3 P.S. I dare u to hit the report button.. This post has been edited by voncrane: May 6 2015, 05:55 PM |

Even sadder is that my Nexus 10 (Since November 13, 2012) just got upgraded to version 5.1.1. Note 3 still rocking 4.4.2. Personally, i don't mind, if the delay means they are really working on a rock solid and battery friendly lollipop build.

QUOTE(maxgamer_82 @ May 25 2015, 12:09 PM) hi guys, got my note for 1 month now...few weeks ago a problem occured...i plugged in using the original USB 3.0 cable but it wont charge. the battery icon shows it was charging but the battery level is declining. now i have to revert to my old USB 2.0 charger to charge my n3...googled it and found out that many of the n3 users worldwide facing the same problem...anyone ever experience this? Zero such issues here even after almost 2 years. Firstly, be sure its not the original 3.0 charger or USB cable that is faulty. Borrow another and test. If problem persists and since, yours is still about a month old, do a quick backup and format/re-flash the latest XME build. If that still doesn't solve the issue, then no choice but to claim warranty.sometimes when i connect the 3.0 cable, the charging works but for no reason it just wont charge to full... |

QUOTE(myself379 @ Jun 6 2015, 11:48 AM) I've checked last time as well. But then after reading some in XDA, I conclude that it was Philippines (Global) version that Malaysian XME getting. CMIIW Hey, thanks for the heads up. However, think i'll stay on the fence for awhile more & maybe SamMobile will get a hold of n upload the XME version. Besides, phone is currently needed for work purposes and I don't have the clear time to deal with potential issues/bugs as yet. |

QUOTE(Mr.Docter @ Jun 10 2015, 06:54 PM) Aw shi- Its pretty easy bro, once you get the hang of it. I just did mine a few hours ago and took me less than an hour from start to finish. Would have used less time but downloading files n backups took reasonably longer. Didn't lose apps, settings or data.Hate to do this manually thingy. Can you guys guide me how to do it specifically for OUR Note 3? Because Googling may yield nonspecified version of Note 3. 1. Download and install Samsung Smart Switch 2. Backup using the above software (Additionally if rooted, better use Titanium Backup or Full ROM Backup via custom recovery, just in case you have to factory reset). Software works even for rooted device. 3. Download latest XME build from SamMobile website. 4. Download Odin3_v3.10.6 and CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005 5. Just in case, make a manual backup of your media (photos, videos, etc). 6. Run Odin as admin, Switch phone to download mode, connect to PC via USB cable. 7. Flash ROM. Wait for completion and reboot. 8. Launch Smart Switch on PC. Connect newly flashed phone and update will appear on PC. 9. Perform update. Phone reboots into Lollipop. 10. Re-root if you desire, following the same steps in "6" and the CF-auto-root file. 11. Profit!!! This post has been edited by voncrane: Jun 10 2015, 07:25 PM |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Jun 10 2015, 07:18 PM) Hopefully. Though with our exclusion from the official M list, we'll be lucky to get any updates at all. Maybe a few hotfixes, but nothing major prolly. True.. Me? I'm sticking to my N3 till I see what N6 has to offer. The N3 is beast enough for me and sticking to it, unless truly major changes come to android that can ease daily usage. Here's hoping that N5 would actually be worth upgrading to. If not I'll prolly stick to the N3 for a while - and I pray someone ports TW M (that fully works) over to us N3 guys. |

QUOTE(bibon27 @ Jun 11 2015, 12:09 AM) So far there's no definitive XME lollipop firmware for direct download and could be awhile before it shows up. If you want it bad enough, simply flash stock KK and upgrade. Much faster than you think. Alternatively, just download and flash Philippines (Globe)'s firmware from Samobile. I can confirm it shares same PDA & CSC version as the OTA update for XME.This post has been edited by voncrane: Jun 11 2015, 12:24 AM |

QUOTE(bibon27 @ Jun 11 2015, 12:24 AM) Are u rooted? I edited my previous post... Can just flash the Philippines (Globe)'s firmware, shouldn't lose apps & data by doing that. It appears to be the same. If rooted, just TB your apps n data or flash a custom recovery and make a full backup. Flash KK and see how. |

QUOTE(bibon27 @ Jun 11 2015, 12:44 AM) Exactly. Flash the file using Odin (I used Odin3_v3.10.6). After phone reboots, head to the Google Play Store and update the installed SuperSU app... Profit!! I was on KK and been waiting for XME branded lollipop firmware for manual flashing but everyday, I read posts on others using Lollipop... Cannot hold back any longer..
