for those who unable to use fake s view cover after upgrade to lollipod, simply just dismantle the cover and install it back again. perform the colour selection and you will get back like before.
hope above help. |

QUOTE(djboycalvin @ Jul 1 2015, 11:42 AM) just download alarm clock from play store... thanks. anyway, after updated to lolli, i did factory restore. (because of the alarm clock issue).. after restore, clock ok. but after few days .. issue again. So i install "alarm clock" from play store.. then the existing clocks work well .. i wonder .. look like factory restore is the only way now. |

for the miband, i am having the same issue as well.
but i just put the phone into flight mode, and then disable it again. the miband will then able to sync again. just no need to keep on reboot the phone. |

currently what can grab my eye ball is the microsoft window continuum for phone, productivity and portability.
i am too old for gaming instead. http://www.lowyat.net/2015/04/build-2015-c...nes-windows-10/ |

QUOTE(voncrane @ Aug 19 2015, 09:08 PM) Same here... I mostly play brain & mind improvement or time-killling games... Save the rest for the bigger screen. Yeah, maybe we r getting old. join hand of all those big player is quite impossible. but i believe in the very future, most of the killer features will look similar among all of them. no much different would be noticed. This is indeed a killer feature and one which will immediately tempt me to switch despite my love for the android OS. I believe the folks at Ubuntu tried achieving that once but after much noise, seems to have died down a bit. I know it would be hard and damn near next to impossible for both Microsoft, Google and Samsung to work together.. Cuz, well... world is round and will always back to the beginning. |

QUOTE(voncrane @ Apr 25 2017, 01:00 PM) Going to try this Lss kernel 3.8.. if i would like to proceed to the flashing, does it better to stay with Aryamod Note 7?Phone still ori??? The ROM looks tempting..Especially as current ROM's EOL already. Camera on the Aryamod Note 7 Port takes faster pictures. Though the 4K video recording looks pretty smooth, despite the jerking around.. Good stabilization there. Oh yeah, native scroll screen capture! .. Yes please.. Edit: On 2nd thoughts.. Going through the XDA thread, the ROM appears too buggy for now. Needs a bit more maturity before can be used as daily driver. Very promising replacement for the EOL Aryamod Note 7 port users. below is my plan after some readout, kindly correct me if i am wrong. 1. download the Aryamod Note 7 rom 2. Root note 3 with kingroot 3. install rom manager and flash clockworkmod recovery 4. make a backup 5. wipe cache and dalvik 6. flash rom 7. testing since i am not familiar with the phone modem and kernal, do i need to install any before proceed the above? QUOTE(zero721 @ May 9 2017, 09:41 PM) Tried flashed twrp but cannot boot into recovery mode. Keep on saying could not do a normal boot. Why? flashed the twrp with odin. once complete, the phone will restart. immediately, boot into recovery.if normal boot after the phone restart, the phone will prevent the twrp been written into the system. |

QUOTE(zero721 @ May 9 2017, 08:15 PM) Where to download the bootloader and modem? And how to root first and get twrp? Searched online and youtube but too many different method which looks confusing. for modem and bootloader, refer to post #2425https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3536775/+2420 as for twrp, just use odin to flash it and no root is needed. |
