Just had my tyre replace due to excessive pressure leak from tyres.
Until it actually becomes flat and the sidewall is koyak liao.

The rest 3 of the tyres all ok (one minor leak due to something masuk in the middle).
Wondering whether i should continue with J5 or change tyres.

Besides, it looks like it is getting more expensive for tyres soon, because of our wonderful currency.

is your rim bengkok?
that why excessive air came out or faulty valve

Somehow the leak is from a sharp object in the middle of the tyres, patch it back and it is ok.
For the flat tyre, it was because the side wall too thin (due to some driving where tyre is flat, that causes the issue). So just replaced 1 tyre for the moment to see whether problem continue. Looks like it is fixed for the time being.

No, rim is still ok.

i once had similar problem as you, one of my tyre (rear right) easily losing air pressure like in every 7 to 10 days, always need to pump which i have no problem to do that (3 petrol station on my way home from office) for almost 5 months since it is my everyday car until one time i forgot to pump then go outstation (not using car, car left parked) for 3 days..after got back, tyre pancit already..it is troublesome to me at that time since i am already very tired after got back from long journey to change to spare tyres and go to the workshop..after checking the air is leaked from the previously patch area (patch cacing)..change to latex stick patch (this is my made up term) after that no problem until now

my advice is..just go to workshop and patch properly..u might regret later not doing this 15 minutes task when your tyre is really pancit

Hi Guys,

Wondering whether anyone have tried the new Dunlop SP Sports J5 tyres that was launched?

Just changed to it, and darn it is good!

Was a user of the Dunlop D-01 previously, almost went for Yokohama Advan Decible, but this tyres is not that far off!!

Anyone think the same?
*
Just changed to Dunlop J5 size 155/70r12 for my Viva. Previous tyres: Front -Continental CC5, Rear - Dunlop J3.

Pros:

1. Tyre noise reduced significantly.
2. Humming noise almost gone.
3. Softer ride on uneven road surface.
4. Reduced the harsh ride.

Cons:

1. Pickup reduced little bit.
2. Softer when take corner

Overall - very satisfied and my next choice for time being.
