I checked out Lazada's page, there's this J5 for 185/60/r14 FLX selling for 108rm a piece. And that is without the voucher.

Should I buy two now or wait until my thread's gone? The front's halfway gone.

Just to add to this old thread..
Was looking to change the extremely worn Michelin front tires of my 2nd car.
Initially I was looking for budget tires like Hankook (currently my rear tires are Hankooks) and those funny Indonesian/Thai or China brands. But luckily I came across the Dunlop J5. So far (after a few days), it is good, handles well, cheap price, pretty quiet and engineered by Continental nowadays.

Conclusion is, for budget tires, can't go wrong with the Dunlop J5.

I agreed. Generally Malaysians don't do much research on their own. They just listen to hearsays and what their friends told them etc. etc.

Changed da Yokohama C Drive of my 1st gen Persona to these Dunlop SP Sport J5 due to the recommendation of the regular tyre shop according to my requirement:

- No need performance tyre
- Provide above average grip for both wet and dry road condition
- Dont create weird noises

Used for around 6 months now.. I have to say, this should be the one to change if you looking for replacement for economy choice yet to have good grip on wet road condition.. yes, is abit "noisy" when I just change it, since is new tyres, i guess is pretty normal? After 1 month+ of driving, it's not that noisy anymore, I can't feel much difference from the previous Yokohama C Drive.. I didnt drive like some need for speed gamer on the street or highway.. so I can't comment on the high speed or fast brake situation.. but definitely should be 1 of the top tyre to look for if the budget is not high and looking for reliable tyres.

Finally got the J5 for the front tyres. Been using it for almost a week and I say It is quieter than those silverstones.

Previously using Conti CC5 & recently changed the rear tyre to J5.
Compare to CC5, the road noise is noticeable for velocity below 110 km/j. Quite annoying really.
Having done around 300km mileage & will review it again once hit 2500km
