Hi Guys,

Wondering whether anyone have tried the new Dunlop SP Sports J5 tyres that was launched?

Just changed to it, and darn it is good!

Was a user of the Dunlop D-01 previously, almost went for Yokohama Advan Decible, but this tyres is not that far off!!

Anyone think the same?

Mine is a 195/60 R15, got it for RM 190 a piece (free alignment and installation with purchase of 2 tyres and above).
Quite a fair price actually (they having a promo).

The new CityCars chain inside a mall. Nice concept (I am not an agent, just a user)

Yes, i saw it was made by Continental, that is why i have confidence in it. If not, then i surely won't touch.

Interesting thing is, it has Wet performance and dry performance indicator, that is something new that i have seen first in this model.

if they are under conti then my confidence in it nose dives laugh.gif

thankfully, the ZII * spec should still be independently done by Dunlop Japan (sumitomo/goodyear)

I am personally using it now, worth every penny!

Better Grip than my Formula D-01
Less noisy
Good grip indication for both dry and wet.
Gives good confidence while driving both weather.
Good value for money
Good looking pattern
Also low rolling resistance.

Overall: Good value for affordable tyre.

Tyre used before: Falken Sincera, GT Radial Champiro, Good Year Assurance, Dunlop Formula D-01, Continental CC1, Continental CC-5, Silverstone Synergy M5.

All mostly comfort Tyres.

Cheers.

many ppl is asking about treadwear , traction and temperature on the side wall... actually this is their own manufacturer lab test postioning difference brand have their own calculation .... which means that if this A brand treadwear is 340 and that B brand is 240 most of those tyre shop ppl will say oh 340 is more tahan thean 240 lo.... answer is definetely NO ... just a ex: vw gti oem tyre potenza make in poland tread wear just about 140 only why millage can go more than 50k ??? and xm2 michelin some size tread wear is 420 also around 50k...

Just changed to it recently. So far so good. I thought it was worth a try as its made in Continental factory and the prices are much better compared to Continental smile.gif
