D05 is more for performance tyres.
While the J5 is more for comfort.

Surely the D05 is better, but also more expensive, and only can use it above 15 inch.
So depending on your pocket also lah...

How are you guys feeling with other sizes?
Happy with what you have?

Do share your experience, as this is where we share ideas and thoughts, for others to benefit them.
Just a user here that is impressed with this model of tyres.

My tyres centre part starting to boats due to slightly over-inflate my tyres. Using 33 PSI normally, maybe that is why.
Haha.

Unbelievable that Penang can get better price than in KL.

In general, klang valley can get more competitive pricing. Looks like Penang wins for this round. Which shop?

Advance Tyre & Car Care in Sg. Ara. Penang price usually 10% to 20% higher than in klang valley.

Thx. Higher cost coz bridge toll. Mainland slightly cheaper compared to island.

Not too bad price for cc5, but not interested too, cuz cc6 is already out for 195/55/R15. I suppose it's probably worth waiting conti msia to officially launch cc6, then other sizes will start to appear.

I got myself the same size for RM195 a piece!
Surely you are getting a better price compared to me already.
But mine is already about 1 year now...

Even got it for my wife's car because it makes a big difference even by the way it turns corner.
So much easier.

Thanks. That's a bargain. In JB lowest can go is RM190 exlcude GST.

I got feedback from an authorized Dunlop dealer, they are saying that they would not recommend J5 when he knows i'm currently using the old CC1, they get bad review from customers especially for travelling long distance, instead get a new Continental CC6 which is just RM30 more.

I'm not sure if this is due to their marketing strategy or better margin. Perhaps an honest verdict.

For sure the CC6 is a newer and more comfortable tyre.
But that is more for comfort tyre though. Not sure about long distance travel though.

I travel with my J5, and i don't have any complain.

Been using J5 for several months (185/60/14).
Previously on Mich XM2, same size.

J5 just slightly comfort...just dont know how long it will last.
XM2 also comfort, but the rubber gradually hardened...4yrs using, thread still deep.
XM2 wet performance too superb compared to J5.
After my J5 hardened/bald....i'll go back to Mich

Juz my personal review...others might differ.
