Pretty much anything ISETAN accepts Amex.

Minor update but went to Cold Storage KLCC today. Still mainly using Affin Bank terminal but if you mention Amex they'll bring out AmBank terminal.
Also, they still seem to have a few of them around and share them between tills in the store

If not mistaken all Nasi Kandar Pelita have Maybank terminals. Have been to a few branches around and all accept Amex

So u mean cold storage ambank terminal accepts amex? On the other hand, all giant stores using ambank terminal but all don't accept amex.

Ai-cha (central mall i-city) accepts amex.

Ninso (sek 7 shah alam) accepts amex.

Yep. This wasn't the first Cold Storage that I've went that accepted Amex.
For Giant, did you use Apple Pay? I know some terminals are buggy with Amex via AP sometimes but works fine with physical card.

Rather surprised to see an Ai-Cha with Maybank terminal. I've only seen Public Bank terminals or just QR so far.

Cold storage i used to be able i use amex without any issue. But started few years ago all the cold storage near my area already closed down.

As for giant, I also used to be able to use amex without any issue. Until they switched to use ambank terminal, then never been able to use amex anymore. When they use maybank terminal no issue. Even uncle jack also i can use amex there, because they share the same maybank terminal.

My giant store accept amex by using ambank terminal but not for affin.

Try - nope.
Visual - I saw they have a tray to keep receipts belonging to which processing network it goes through. AmEx was not there, for the store @ Rimbayu at least.

Yes, still works, just used it a few days ago.
They are using CIMB black terminal iirc.
Even tried it at their self-checkout counters at another branch a few weeks ago, also works.

Paid via Apple Pay, still shows up as Tesco as the merchant's name xD

Sometimes they just combine the AMEX receipt with other processor's receipt. At least that's what I saw at a few places.

Curious if anyone had this issue before.
You make payment with Amex; payment verified and went through.
But the cashier saw the payment and voided it, saying they don't take Amex even though the payment went through.

Once was at a Chez Choux and another at Pathlab. Both had Maybank machines.

I called mbb to file complaint, mbb gave me the tp difference

Oooo can file complaint? Damn, I went for a medical checkup and saw they took AmEx. Tapped, and then they saw it's AmEx and reversed it and tell me "We don't take AmEx". I question them then "Why did it went through?" and of course they just act dumb and say system glitch. After much back and forth and also I still need to come back to them for checkups, I gave in and tapped Visa. Scared they put something in my meds.

But it's months ago already, doubt MBB would even bother but now I know, nice.

Oh neat, didn't know we can file a complaint. Will do that then.

just insist that the payment has gone through, stand your ground and dont pay them again. because it is their choice to void the successful payment.

teach these merchant a lesson for trying to fool around
