Maybank Card Terminal spotted at merchant, but a sign expressly stated AMEX cards are not accepted.

Went to 1 Utama Uniqlo again to check whether AMEX is accepted back. They said AMEX not accepted until further notice.
If anyone else goes Uniqlo in store other location, do update us. Thanks

I think Burger King slowly accept Amex even thou not in Maybank list.

Try at lot10 and lalaport also accepted.

i know speedmart accepts amex, however any "minimum amount"? buy RM2.85 massimo bread ok?

Uniqlo has started phasing out AMEX. Their new machines don't accept it and they always give the "system down" excuse whenever I point out the Maybank machine at the counter. Noticed this for awhile but lazy to lipot one. Confirmed with both Uniqlo City Square and Aeon Tebrau City.

Hey guys, soooo why not we start using AmEx on the Uniqlo app? Since they offer in store pickup on the same day, we can just go to Uniqlo, touch touch, try it on, then pay via the app. The only downside is I saw they say for self pickup, gotta wait for 2-4 working days in West and 4-7 working days in East. Some selected places (on weekdays only) order before 12pm, can collect on the same day itself.

At least, this is the only thing we can do if we want to pay via AmEx until they allow us to pay @ the store with AmEx again.

Disclaimer: I have NOT personally tried this whole method but since they put it on their app, I guess they are sure that this service exists. Also, their CVV field accepts 4 digits (AmEx generally have 4 digit CVV).

kfc puchong stopped accepting amex (previously can)

Just realised this today as I'm about to make an order.    an American company not supporting their own mode of payment.

We do not accept AMEX credit cards for online or in-store payments.

Curious if anyone had this issue before.
You make payment with Amex; payment verified and went through.
But the cashier saw the payment and voided it, saying they don't take Amex even though the payment went through.

Once was at a Chez Choux and another at Pathlab. Both had Maybank machines.
