Above RM500.
Before only got 10% taxed.

About top coat, i usually leave it one day and prepare everything else for the next day.
*
Next time get Pos Laju to handle for you, that rm50 is worth it.

buy the Unicorn only
LED have ugly light bleed which is not really worth to spend
*
you can always apply black paint on LED areas you don't want the LED to bleed out, or use tape to tape off areas that might bleed.

true got my hyakushiki a bit higher price because air courrier cost me around rm60, so if use ship way will be a lot cheaper...

usually i source locally 1st but i never do pre-order online, just for the rg red frame is my 1st time on amiami too.

so for local purchase i think will go for older more reasonable price kits but most of my wish list at local market cant give the right price, such as

mg gp02a, mg perfect gundam, mg banshee and a few more. so still in search for a better bargain...
*
Hyakushiki doesn't fit SAL box, so rm60 for air is cheap already. From HK coz JP sure not so cheap.

For the last time, advocado, post replies in a single post
You are burying earlier posts and making the thread move faster

This is not /k
*
Look I'm browsing the thread in reverse if there's a simple way to edit + quote a new quote i'd be glad to post in 1 single post, but i'm not going to click quote then copy & then click back & then click edit & press paste & type my response just to save 1 post space.

Testing.

If you plan to keep the PG unicorn, a LED that you'd never use the 2nd time is still a good to have.

I reply my post while i browse each post, i usually don't read the whole page then decide which post to reply, so it's unlikely i will use the +quote button, some forum has auto merge function that merge subsequent post made by same user if there's no new post by other users, so i think this forum should implement that system instead, +quote only works if you already know which posts you are replying to, if i'm browsing multiple page even if i use the +quote i'd have forgotten the content of the posts i want to reply to. Plus right now the function doesn't tell me which quote my post will show up under.

Regarding the wiring, i'm sure if it's from Bandai they'd have designed the routing for the wires so you won't have to drill further holes right? Some LED kit actually come with additional replacement parts to fit the LED.

After you clicked +quote on all the posts you want to reply to, click on the universal addreply button at the BOTTOM of the page, not the reply button on the posts
*
Bro i followed your instructions, after i press +quote on 2 posts i replied at bottom, clicked the add reply, just shows up like a normal post, i assume when you press +quote the quotes will show up in the box?

I think my Browser is outdated & the flash or Java doesn't work well with it so nothing i can do about it.

PG Unicorn should be build alongside it's LED kit..
The wiring is a pain in the butt..
If you build PG Unicorn, later want to install LED kit, prepare for nightmare  brows.gif  brows.gif  brows.gif
*
that is not so bad, worst case is when you already have the LED installed and some of it broke, no one's gonna spend the effort to open up the parts, remove the LED & install new LED...

btw did they not provide wiring route for the kit?

any new announcement when will this line start??
I want my unicorn~

and please a RG too lol
*
The reason they want you to twist the wire is to prevent excessive pull on the wires when you pose the robot, those wires can come lose and will be problematic to fix it once you assembled it. alternative way is to tie a knot between the entry & exit point to prevent overpulling the wires.

Anyway an easier way to have LED is to take a photo & photoshop it.

BTW i don't like newer SD styles recently, feet are too big, not cute at all.

I actually like it for the longer leg and arms laugh.gif
yea not so much of SD or BB looks, more like a hybrid now
*
The newer Super Robot Wars also feature longer limbs, but not so exaggerated. This style makes it look weird. Same as the newer NGEX something lineup.

just stick the decals without any protection?
*
use future floor finish, i have used them on clear plastics they look crystal clear after coat even if the plastic itself had scratches before coat. i also used it on my scratched watch, looks better than before but don't expect 100% there'd be micro scratches when you look real hard. just make sure you use slightly damped clean cotton rag & dip with the solution & wipe gently across the areas & make sure no bubbles or trails.

downside is it's acrylic based so prone to scratches after dry if handled not properly. but all you need is another coat.

Noob Question: Come across a good deal for Titanium Finish model kit, thinking to buy it onot.
My concern is Can we still draw Panel line with marker & put Decal on Titanium Finish surface just like normal kit?
the finishing looks great, but rather bland if without panel line & decal...
*
yes you can. the panel line might take longer to dry or easily come off though, not sure if it will smudge if you spray top coat, maybe mist coat then wet coat to prevent smudge from happening.

Thanks.. Don't think gonna Top Coat it. scare the Titanium Finish become not obvious..
As long as I can panel line and decal it... I'm satisfied...
*
it's Titanium Finish, not Chrome, so top coating it with Future Floor will just make it shinnier.

I am interested in this future floor top coating.
You thinnering with what?
Or spray directly without thinnering.
*
It can be applied directly from the bottle, but people say you can add a drip of detergent or thinner to break down the solution for more even outcome.

You can:

1.Airbrush
2.Hand brush
3.Wipe on Cotton Rag

key is to make the coat as even as possible with as little marks as possible & as little bubble as possible. it's water based so if you put too thick coat on it it might accumulate at lower areas. if you using brush or cotton rag go as gentle as possible. they say you can polish with paper towel before it's fully dried but i'm not confident about it as you can scratch it or even remove the coat by accident.

strengthen the shoulder joints, shield holder joints and now it able to hold the shield booster properly and tight!

lesson learnt, next time i will spray a layer of coat on those joints runner before i start working on each of them
*
try to cut out as much connectors as you can and sand the nub marks before you coat it, this will save you time on trimming/sanding the marks when you remove them from the tree.

Glue is unnecessary. Like I said above, I got solid results from just getting some clear tape and putting on the backs of the funnels. I don't even get any sagging.
