The cheapest you can get is from luxuryperfume, but I think they have limited range there. I personally prefer Kens because of their membership program. You can collect points which can be converted to a cash voucher. Then you can purchase more cologne with that voucher.

Mine from early 2017 bottles, and i do detect the smokey tar and ashy birch smell from it. I have 2016 samples and the opening was quite zesty, sharp and sweet. Aventus is a nice cologne and I wore it a lot throughout past 2 years. Now slow down a bit and last I wore it, if not mistaken back in August last year during cousin’s wedding. Reason being its not unique and exclusive anymore with so many clones widely available in the market. I might revisit again tomorrow and can share my take here. Anyway, so sorry bro as I’m not selling mine as it will always be in my collection.

Since you already have a bottle, my suggestion is don’t waste your money for another bottle just for the sake of different batches. I’m aware of the batch differences, and I don’t care that much as long as I have a bottle of authentic Aventus. I highly suggest you to spend the money for other good offerings from Creed e.g: Green Irish Tweed, Viking, Himalaya, Silver Mountain Water, Virgin Island Water....etc. Or maybe try from other houses (TF, MFK...etc)

As for Diptyque, I personally have Tam Dao, Vetyverio and Oud Palao in my possession. Love them all and I have also tried Benjoin Boheme, Tempo, Eau Duelle, Do Son, Philosykos, L’Ombre dans l’Eau, Eau Minthe and 34 and they all nice too. Get a few samples first, then only pull the trigger. Go to Diptyque boutique (also owned by Kens) in Pavillion instead of Kens other outlet as they have extensive range there.

I considered BdC Parfum as my signature scent for the month of March, as I wore it a lot. The best among the 3 (EdT vs EdP vs Parfum) I would say. Very elegant and enjoyful to wear. I don’t really care much about the notes in here since the scent itself speaks, especially the dry down...so beautiful. Full bottle worthy.

Bought last Jan, been wearing it for few times and simply love it. This is my take on Ombre Leather (OL). FYI, TL=Tuscan Leather

OL is like TL younger brother - softer, milder and lighter version of TL. I didn't get the harsh, animalic, smokey and bitter opening of TL on OL. Cardamom listed as the top note, but my nose didn't detect that. Probably it was so well blended and rounded off the harsh edges of the leather scent, resulted very sweet leather with pleasant jasmine undertone. I believe the sweetness came from cardamom here.

After a while, leather mellows down to allow jasmine to shine more and I get slight earthiness from patchouli (probably) which created a depth to the fragrance, very beautiful and elegant.

I get predominantly sweet leather with slight resinous in a drydown. Although boozy note is not listed, my nose detect a faint booziness too. Simply magic

Overall, the scent itself is very sophisticated and luxury, and suitable for office wear. Performance, it projects beastly for first half hour, then tone down a bit for the next 2-3 hours. Longevity, easily hits 8 hours mark on my skin and for ages on my shirt. 2 cents

I have both, so I recommend you to get both. Similar DNA but for different purposes.

TL - Need to dress up a little bit. Not for office, as it is so loud, you might offend others.

OL - Casual and people pleaser, suitable for office use.

OL goes similar direction as Atelier’s Oud Saphir (OS), but OS is more fruity.

I have Fougere D’Argent and I’ve tried Beau De Jour recently. I personally prefer Fougere D’Argent. Both are in the same genre for me, and sharing similar DNA. Love Fougere D’Argent dry down over Beau De Jour.

Not sure about the other two. LE release date probably 1st of May in US. So not sure when will it be available here.

Price wise? 2-3k for 15ml?

I haven’t had a chance to pay a visit yet, but from previous discussion, what I understand was that the price for their normal range would be around 2k-3k per 15ml and their higher range can go up to 20k. Definitely pricier than most Roja’s but CC has some of the most expensive cologne in the world.

I’m pretty sure many of us here knows what Attar is, so no worries. Anyway, is Carlisle your first PdM that you have tried? If Carlisle so bad, then I don’t really suggest you to try other offering from this house....you probably need to train your nose to adapt to this type of smell first then revisit carlisle. Start with Guerlain Lhomme ideal edp or Dior Homme Intense/parfum. Wear them until it grows in you, then revisit Carlisle. Then you will appreciate it better.

Like others just said, you can't go wrong with Versace Oud Noir and La Yuqawam PH. I'm not sure where you can test La Yuqawam PH except you buy a decant, but you can just walk-in to TF KLCC and try out Tuscan Leather (both are about similar). Since this is gonna be your first leather centric cologne, I highly suggest you to try TF Ombre Leather first since many people find TL/La Yuqawam PH tend to be very offensive on their first sniff. So my suggestion is go mild while your olfactory system trying to adapt to this type of scent.

As for oud, you may want to try YSL M7 oud absolu on top of oud noir. It is not listed in luxuryperfume own web store, but it is on sale in their Shopee site. I never had any experienced with the vintage M7 (the era where TF was YSL creative director), but according to Fragrantica they both are about similar. M7 was the inspiration for TF to release Oud Wood. Oud Wood is brighter while M7 is richer and darker. If you like Oud Wood you will love M7. Walk-in to TF KLCC and test Oud Wood then ask yourself if you like it or not. If you like it, find luxuryperfume shopee site and purchase it (you safe almost 700 bucks). Blind buy safe, trust me.
