Hey guys, is Fragrankita and LuxuryPerfume legit outlets? I’m trying to get my hands on some Acqua di Parma.
*
We are only discussing legit and authentic stuff here, I believe anything that being recommended by other bros here must be legit. I don’t have any experienced dealing with Fragrankita, but I have purchased tons of cologne from luxuryperfume including niches, so I vouch for them. Summon bro gl0be.iv to vouch on Fragrankita.

Bro can you share your take on Encans Flamboyant? I’m interested but would like to know first hand from you.

Can’t go wrong with Creed line bro....put Aventus aside, there are Himalaya, Virgin Island Water, Green Irish Tweed, Silver Mountain Water, Original Santal to name a few bro...performance/longevity is excellent. Go check them out.

I noticed a place holder for Serge Lutens and By Killian in luxuryperfume online store. Also, they have a couple of Clive Christian in stock too. Go check them out.

Edit : Posted too early, there are few other brands that they are bringing in near future - Xerjoff, Tiziana Terenzi, Nasomatto, Frederic Malle

Yes it is...My favourite Amber fragrance along with Ambre Sultan and Amber Absolute. smile.gif

Planning to get Amber Sultan soon. Anyway, which Amber Absolute do you own bro? The old vintage one or the reserved collection (RC) one? I have RC and loving it, but many said the vintage one even better. Can you comment?

Sometime it does smell like new paint 😂. A bit dry. Unique for sure.
*
Indeed and spot on!! Thanks for the decant bro!! As much as I love amber+incense, i found that LDDM is not up to my liking (as yet), it lacks of something (less sweetness maybe). They are few other amber based colognes which I found better (AG Ambre Sauvage, Amouage Interlude, Issey Miyake Noir Ambre to name a few. In fact, I found Habdan is even better although they both are in a different genre. This is just from my opinion and maybe I need to give it sometimes.

Been kinda busy lately, financial market is full with surprises lately  drool.gif

Here's my collection. I have tons of JM's (thats where i started). A couple of Byredos, MCD and a few TFs and a Creed.

LV is kinda lonely cause i seldom use it while Diptyque's Eau Des Sens is abit bold when compared to Neroli Portofino

* TF is my fave. (I know, i need to discover more brands  tongue.gif )

Awesome collection you have there bro! Where is Lost Cherry bro?

I heard the current formulation, is not worth buying
no longevity shakehead.gif
better get montblanc explorer
*
Unless if you owned a bottle, in my opinion hear/say is not enough to justify wether the cologne is worth buying or not.

I owned 2017 batch and i have a couple of 2016 vials. I have also tried mb explorer before. What i can say, Mb explorer lacks of personality and depth, which made Aventus way better than mb explorer, both the performance and the scent itself. If you are looking for Aventus clone, look no further than CDNIM. But if you want Aventus and you have the budget for it, get the real one.

PSA: Lavender Extreme arrived in KLCC.

Comes in a travel decant and 50ml.

For 50ml, they only have around 7 bottles.  brows.gif

Hows LE bro? Haven’t had a chance to go and check it out yet. Worth 1.3k or not?

Thanks

SOTD. Aventus Cologne.

Open with Fruity blast like the OG for the first 15mins but added with mandarin orange note and more vetiver. U also will get reminiscent of CAHSEE. I dont get mint notes here. Definitely lighter than the OG. Very suitable for our weather. Longevity is between 5-6 hours with moderate projection. Nothing ground breaking here, but is is a really nice fragrance especially if you love the OG.
*
Wowww, can decant a bit for me bro? Wanna test, will pickup together with Elysium soon.

How much for 1ml? Is this aged oil? I have 3ml of aged Cambodi oil which I bought few months ago. Very strong, animalic, musky but smooth.

For oud fragrances which i enjoy the most, FdB Sahraa Oud. Own few from this house. Now started to appreciate Roja Diaghlev, Pdln3 and UAE. Really beautiful fragrances.
Xerjoff Alexandria ii , and their attar also quite nice.
*
FdB Oud Noir not bad also, shared similar DNA as TF oud wood but better longevity. Thanks to you bro!!

Another oud cologne that I enjoy now is LV Ombre Nomade.

Initial thoughts on Lavender Extreme

First spray is bright lavender. A high quality lavender which exudes calmness rather than those generic ones which will reminds you of Ajax Fabuloso.

After a few minutes, the lavender note retreats to the back to reveal powdery Tonka and some sparkle from cinnamon.

It stays pretty linear till the end when I re-sniff the blotter a few hours later. Gonna test more soon 😏

Looking for a good deal for that before pulling trigger. Most important thing, never buy at retail price.  rclxs0.gif

SOTD. Roja Elysium Parfum Cologne.

This is a lighter and brighter version of Elysium. It has similar vibe to BDC but with a smoother blend (maybe because of heavy grapefruit note in both). I enjoy wearing this during the daytime. Longevity on my skin is around 6-8 hr with moderate projection while the parfum edition is  12hours++.

Tagging bro locozz03 for this.  thumbup.gif

PAPHI was released first in 2011 and TFN was released one year later in 2012 but I sniffed TFN first because every guy in London buses was wearing either TFN or Spicebomb that year. PAPHI and TFN smell very similar with the same patchouli+amber+vanilla combo. The nuances that set them apart is that PAPHI has added myrrh and TFN has Guerlinade accord, which I also love. Oh yeah, the EdT version of TFN smells very close to Habit Rouge EdP.

TGIF, I'm wearing Calling All Angels by April Aromatics. The only certified organic perfume in my collection. Winner of the 2013 Artisan category Art and Olfaction Awards. I bought it directly through aprilaromatics.com on xmas eve of 2015 during promo for EUR120 shipped. I've checked just now, the selling price is still the same at EUR142 excluding shipping. It's an incense amber bomb. I bought it for the same spiritual reasons I bought Incense Avignon.

Another question, does anybody have a small decant of GIT. I'd wish to have a sniff at least once in my life for this alleged masterpiece.

Visit Kens bro, you can test it there, or try to ask for GIT sample from them.

Thank you sir for your feedback. u bought from them before? how do you check the authenticity and how was the delivery?

Versace Eros 100ml going for RM260 got me little bit suspicious.
*
RM260 is normal, you still can find cheaper somewhere else, and in fact i notice luxuryperfume prices have increased recently, especially their niche offerings.

QUOTE(TheNiro @ Jul 6 2019, 03:03 PM)
thank you bro Ton3. I bought at Parkson Mahkota Parade Melaka. They are having sales for Davidoff. Coolwater RM120 for 75ml and RM199 for 100ml.
It was my first purchased of Coolwater. The performance of this frag is letting me down. I couldnt smell it after 4 hours. Maybe due to reformulation.
*
If you are looking for something better in performance, look no further than Green Irish Tweed (The original version of cool water). More bold, green and fresh. People pleaser and very easy to wear, the only downside is the price.
