No lah bro. Can tapau because cheap cheap one. If at retail price, I cry only watching la. Yes that was my last haul of 2018  nod.gif  20% off for scented candles and their other products. The fragrances are 50% off bro  rclxms.gif but sadly for men, not many left. The best ones are no more. I heard from the SA a couple of months back got someone tapau 2 bottles of jubilation from there. I wonder if it was bro ferros  hmm.gif
I went to the shop a few months back and it seemed authentic. They even have a thread in lowyat.

My haul of 2019 and probably will stop buying for quite sometime after this  bye.gif

GV is available in both 50 and 100ml at TF KLCC.

Does anyone here know if TF FF from selfridges is a censored or uncensored one? I’m really interested with the uncensored one but can’t get it locally. So thinking of buying from selfridges if theirs is uncensored. I like the daring name on the label.

Uncensored as per the item description.

Thanks bro, appreciate your reply. Tried earlier but too bad, they don't ship it to Malaysia, not sure why. Now contemplating whether to pay additional 200 bucks for censored version or not. Anyway, thanks bro.

Haha yeah bro, maybe doing it for attention only.

Btw bro, you know where I can find 2012 Dior Homme Sport?
I still have that decant bought from, you holysheeet it's like super beast mode on me. Smeels great too.

The 2017 ver don't have Iris right, I really like the Iris in 2012 one
*
I had no experienced with 2012 version of Dior Homme Sport (DHS), so can't comment much. I didn't get any Iris note from the current DHS, so you're probably right. If you like Iris, you should consider taking DHI or DHP. If you haven't, please give it a try and you probably will like it. I have DHI and personally prefer DHI over DHP. 2 cents

Weird, it stated that it can be delivered to Malaysia during checkout for mine.

Hurm weird since I can’t even complete my purchase unless I change my address. Anyway, I’ve got mine through my friend who just arrived from London earlier today. Save almost 400 bucks.

Nice! How's does it smell like? I just bought tf grey vetiver too. Indeed UK so much cheaper if compare to duty free shop at Malaysia.
*
I’ve been sampling it for a while before decided to get a full bottle, and i like it very much. It is sophisticated, I get a lot of sweet tonka bean in the opening + slight bitterness + synthetic leather. Leather in FF is not the same as leather we get from Tuscan Leather. FF leather is softer I would say, and synthetic. It has cosmetic/make up vibe, similar to DHI but in different direction. Its kinda linear, as it stays as it is from opening till it faded. Performance wise, projection is moderate but good enough for me. Longevity, it stays on my shirt for a very long hours (10+ hrs). But on skin, it last around 6-7 hours. This is love or hate frag, and you really need to sample it first before buying since smelling on the test strip is not good enough. Summary - a unique and sophisticated frag that smells bitter sweet + synthetic leather + cosmetic/makeup vibe all the way.

hi Bro, where u got your samples from? i tried FF at KLCC , Genting Highland , and Klia. Now, no more place to try any more. later they will recognize me.  Haha . The price is abit expensive here in Malaysia. I got tonka and leather (like from DHP). I love the smell. My wife hate this.
*
TF KLCC is generous with samples. Me and my wife have been regular there so we got many samples from them.

Nice. only being there once. But, u bought anything during your visit? Or they just really generous and gave u sample?

We usually went there with purpose, so we end up buying stuff. They usually offer 2 samples as their standard practice but i always ask for more.

I have oud saphir (OS) sample from Kens. It is very close to TF Ombre Leather (OL) I would say, but OL has an extra punch, while OS is more subtle. I like both, but since I already have both Tuscan Leather and OL, getting OS would be a redundant purchase. Anyway, you can’t go wrong with OS.

diptyque smells nice BUT DOES NOT LAST LONG. Jo Malone better

Which diptyque are you referring to? Oud Palao performs very well from my opinion. So does Vetyverio. I had no experienced with Jo Malone so I can’t comment much.

Good question. You make me wonder where is the oud as the name says. To my nose I don’t notice any oud.

I don't get any oud either. It's just like TL to me. Since I don't own OL so I can't compare to that.
*
OL for me is a lighter version of TL. Same goes to OS, but i found that OS is more subtle and ‘silky’ (i don’t know how to describe). However, they are all sharing the same DNA. Same goes to La Yuqawam Pour Homme and Godolphin. Too bad I haven’t had a chance to try out La Yuqawam, but I have Godolphin sample. PDM Godolphin is slightly sweeter in opening, and missing the TL signature of wet cigar scent in dry down.

for a cheap perfume category, just wanna ask experts in here. hows the kenneth cole mankind's smell? for 100ml around rm260
*
Not sure about Kenneth Cole as I don’t have any experienced with this brand before. But with that allocation, I would suggest you find ‘Tester’ bottle from reputable/legit sellers out there and get a better perfume from a well known designer brand in frag world. Look for Bvlgari, Paco Rabanne, JPG, Versace or Armani. You can get perfumes from these reputable designers at below RM300 here in Malaysia. Pay a visit to any Sephora and test all you can before purchase.

TF PB Reserve Collection is now available in KLCC. Blind bought Amber Absolute and seriously no regret. I intended to buy MFK Grand Soir back in Dec until someone mentioning TF is re-releasing some of their discontinued PB line, thus I hold buying it. I like Grand Soir scent especially the opening. Too bad the opening doesn’t last very long and it dries down to a vanilla dominance scent which kinda reminds me of PdM Pegasus. Amber Absolute opens with warm, dark, smokey, ambery sweet and heavy incense notes. Absolutely reminds me of Grand Soir, but without benzoin. It is pretty linear i would say as the scent didn’t change by time on my skin. It projects beastly and longevity is on par with Tobacco Vanille. For me TV is the best performing TF PB so far. I haven’t had a chance to rock on it yet, and my review above is solely based on 2 sprays i had on my skin, then walk around KLCC for an hour until decided to purchase it. To conclude, this is a beast fragrance, and not for everyone. If you like Tobacco Vanille and Tobacco Oud, this is for you. For those who tried/have Grand Soir, AA is the opening of Grand Soir with add-on incense but without benzoin. Before I walk-off the store, decided to test GV and blind bought it since it is packaged with After Shaved at a single bottle price. I’m a happy man now.

Bro, got spotted Italian cypress and velvet gardenia there?
*
I can confirm that Italian Cypress is available but can’t remember if I spotted velvet gardenia. Tried those available on display and to my nose, only 4 stood up - Amber Absolute, Arabian Wood, Rive d’Ambre and Bois Marocain. Ended up with Amber Absolute. If I have extra allocation, I would take Rive d’Ambre as well, but found that the scent has similarity with Venetian Bergamot and I’ve max out my allocation.

laugh.gif Bought Santal Blush on my last visit.

They're quite generous with samples tho

Contemplating to either get Tobacco Vanille or Amber Absolute next  hmm.gif

Woww.....sounds so oriental, love it. Haven't had a chance to try it yet, but definitely will put my nose on it. Agreed on Tam Dao, it is a linear fragrance, but I like the raw and natural sandalwood smell, kindda relaxing.

I would suggest you to grab Amber Absolute bro, since it is limited edition as per TF website and on limited run. If sold out globally, then have to wait for next re-release. The smell is so addictive, and for me Amber Absolute is the new PB King in my PB collection (dethroned Tuscan Leather). But if you are looking for a beast performer, Tobacco Vanille still the best and Amber Absolute comes next (gap is so close though).

Tried F**cking Fabulous during my working hours yesterday, here's my thought:

Fabulous opens with a full blast of clary sage and some spicy nuances. I detected some lavender but its kinda subtle.

Once the top notes fade, we are left with a pretty linear scent. It stays creamy and slight leathery from the tonka bean and bitter almond respectively throughout. (Some refer this stage as plastic-y)

Projection and silage is fine. Fabulous holds up to at least 3 hours before dialing down to skin scent (or near proximity projection). Its longevity stretches up to in between 8-10 hours.

One thing for sure, I don't quite understand the negativity that surrounds this fragrance especially fr*grant*ca. Their reviews were kinda off the track after having to experience the scent myself.

However, I don't think its composition justifies the high price tag as there are more worthy pieces around such as Oud Wood Intense or RC.
*
Thanks for your input. I don’t know how clary sage smells like, but i get a lot of sweet tonka in the opening. I did get that plasticky vibe which I believe its a combination of bitter almond+leather/suade, and I interpreted it as a synthetic leather smell. Agreed on the pricing and luckily i got it from Selfridges through my friend there, saved almost 400 and got the uncensored one.

I 100% agree with you on the differences between OW and OWI. Completely 2 different frags. To me, OWI goes similar direction as Oud Palao/Oud Ispahan, while OW is a less challenging, wearable oud frags out there.

Anyone here knows where to get Andy Tauer L'air Du Desert Marocain? Or anyone selling decant of this frag? Addicted to try more Amber frags.

Not sure how to describe its scent, its abit aromatic and herbaceous.

I still remember the first time I smelled Oud Palao. My reaction was like "Why does it smells like pee  doh.gif ". After smelling more and more it became pleasant for me.
*
Then you should try oud oil in its pure form bro brows.gif brows.gif specifically oud trad or oud mysore/lucknow. Super pungent, super musky and super animalic, half drop on your skin is enough and it will last more than 24 hours even after taking bath, no joke.

If you want something subtle, less animalic and less musky, try oud cambodi......better than oud trad and oud mysore/lucknow.

The price for pure oud oil is damn expensive, usual price would be RM50 per ml, and it can be doubled if it is aged. I've seen the aged oud trad oil before and it is very thick. But, to my surprise the smell is much better and pleasant compared to the normal oud oil. 2 cents
