StrawberryNet accepts PayPal too. You can also purchase from fragrancex.com as bro jarcmercier has pointed out :-
- http://www.fragrancex.com/products/_cid_co...__products.html

They ship using DHL Express and i usually receive it less than 2 weeks.

Thanks. Since you have ordered from StrawberryNet and have received the perfumes in good condition, guess it is safe. Is the shipping free even if you buy 2-3 bottles shipped in one shipment? Will go to the site and read later. Still, I would be more inclined to try Perfume.com due to the lower price. I wonder why nobody has ordered from Perfume.com since the price is cheaper?

Will go to fragrancex.com and have a look later. Thanks.

Shipping is free for StrawberryNet if you add non-fragrance item to your fragrance-only order :-
- http://myen.strawberrynet.com/customer-service/delivery/

Shipping is free for fragX for order > RM130 :-
- http://www.fragrancex.com/customerservice/shipping.html

You might wanna check out BBW too. They have high-end designers like Chanel, Dior and Prada fragrances cheaper than online stores :-
- http://my.bestbuy-world.com

There are some good LYN sellers you can shop from. There's one I got my cheap Amouage testers from.

Recently I purchase my hard-to-find vintages/niche from evil bay, essenza-nobile and firstinfragrance. There are still a handful of online stores you can shop from that ships (affordable) to Malaysia. Luckyscent has the most complete range of niche but shipping is a whopping USD40! With our ringgit depreciating, my buying power has greatly reduced so I only purchase a bottle if I find it really unique and captivating.

Happy shopping!

Hi ton3,

Is my bestbuyworld reliable? Thinking of getting Dior Homme Sport from them.. Good price. Is the web based in Malaysia?

BBW has two sites. One based in Malaysia and another one in Singapore. The link I gave is based in Malaysia and ship using POSLaju. All the online sites above I have purchased from them without any problem.

Happy shopping!

Which perfume smells like coffee or choc ya??

As i know, black xs does smell like strawberry.. Not my taste. So, which perfume does smell like coffee, choc or vanilla?

I cant try all the perfume on the counter. They will give me a weird look. So, need ur suggestion, then i will try and get one. Tq

I already used the search button, not much info though..

And what do u think about joop homme, versace l'homme, versace man eau fraiche and versace the dreamer? Nice? I may need to blind buy these perfume as no tester available at counter or sephora.

Coffee and chocolate? Not a fan of gourmand but Pure Coffee immediately comes to mind :-
- http://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Thierry...offee-2337.html

Anything from the A*Men series should be right up your alley. Try using this tool to search for fragrances that contains your favorite notes :-
- http://www.fragrantica.com/ingredients-search

As for sampling, no descriptions and opinions from others is better than your own nose. That's why we order samples/decants. Try surrendertochance.com and decantshop.com.

I've tried joop homme, versace man eau fraiche and versace the dreamer except versace l'homme. Those are a mix of difference genre and they find them ok for different moods if you just wanna smell good.

My friend, dont blind buy but then blind buy will always be part and parcel of the fragrance journey as we evolve and despite numerous advice try first dont waste money blind buy.

Dont worry about the SA on the counters that give you weird look, of coz we need to try only able to make decision. just walk away, customer always right even you are wrong... and if u dare enough, ask to speak to their supervisor to complaint lol

anyway coffee note can have diff kind of smell ie roasted bean, cold beans, latte so from the designer end you can try Givenchy Play Intense (roasted coffee bean), Polo Double Black (roasted beans). Niche end: Bond no 9 New Haarlem (Starbucks in a bottle), Tom Ford Cafe Rose (cafe), Montale Intense Cafe..

Choc.. not my fav note. but please try get ur nose on Guerlain's L'instant de Guerlain Extreme (LIDGE)... Cocoa powder with tea.

As for vanilla depending again wat kind of scent you are looking for.. Gourmand / floral / oriental? you can try L'occitan Eau de Baux, Dior Homme Intense, Boss Bottled, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, Memo Siwa, Guerlain Spirituse Double Vanile,

Hope this finds you well as i dont really like to smell too sweet or foody lol

For Coffee base or choc that first come to my mind was this designer brand ; Givenchy Play Intense. ( Smooth aroma of coffee bean scent ). Beside this,If your budget allow. You can try Bond No 9 New Haarlem.

While for Choc base scent,Personally highly recommend Guerlain's L'instant de Guerlain Extreme (Vintage bottle), As their latest release sucks due to reformulation.. I believe some of fraghead do still carry the vintage bottle.
Here's one of my fav.. If you could put Cacao & Coffee together then it will be fantastic,Then try Bond No 9 So New York.. Is one of my fav gourmand scent follow by Guerlain Elixir Charnel Gourmand Coquin. One of Guerlain masterpiece creation take on Gourmand at least for me.
While for Mugler,Personally find it too strong for my liking.

If you thinking of Joop Homme,Then why no go for better choices ; Mont Blanc Individuel. Warm Cinnamon Vanilla Combo... Imagine you walk pass by the cinnabon kiosk where they freshly bake their cinnamon bun wink.gif
For Versace Eau Fraiche is one of the hidden gem for fresh woody scent, Personally like the opening combo of lemon & starfruits.
For Versace Dreamer are on smooth floral ( Lavender + Tobacco combo ), slight sharp on opening,But when it the scent settles down, You in cloud nine wink.gif

Well,Hope this helps you explore more.. There also more sifu here willing to share more info wink.gif

Hi guys,
Noobie here need your recommendation.

Been using Aqua di Gio for quite some time. Ok for office but too 'formal' for weekend use.
So I'm looking for something more suitable for weekend. I'll be either at the park or mall most of the time, so I need something active and fresh. I don't like fruity smell though.

Interesting how we all perceive scents differently. AdG does smell like Mediterranean holiday to me (not that I've been there before). I use Chrome as my gym scent. Casual and invigorating.

Maybe because I've been using ADG to office for a long time, so I associate the smell with formal environment sweat.gif
I'll keep the Chrome in mind notworthy.gif

ADG always the best and safe scent to wear in office or probably air-cond environment.Due to the weak longevity.

Here's some nice weekend fresh scent worth try out :

- Ck Escape
- Hugo Boss Unlimited
- Burberry Weekend
- Versace Pour Homme / Eau Fraiche
- Bvlgari Pour Homme Extreme ( Office scent too )

Happy Sniffing wink.gif

Weekend scents should be carefree and relax, clinique happy man is a very nice option as well as Dior Homme Cologne...

For me these are my most use bottles for the past two months

Attached Image

Work: Tom Ford Grey Vetiver edt, subtle grapefruit vetiver combo, prefer this over its heavier n smokier edp

Versatile: Creed Green Irish Tweed, Atelier Vetiver Fatal, good for dunno nak pakai scent apa

Formal occasions: Tom Ford Noir for corporate suit n tie event, Black Orchid dinner date

Outdoor / weekend: Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi, citrus n fig works perfect under the hot sun hehe
