Weekend scents should be carefree and relax,  clinique happy man is a very nice option as well as Dior Homme Cologne...

For me these are my most use bottles for the past two months

[attachmentid=4574158]

Work: Tom Ford Grey Vetiver edt,  subtle grapefruit vetiver combo, prefer this over its heavier n smokier edp

Versatile: Creed Green Irish Tweed, Atelier Vetiver Fatal,  good for dunno nak pakai scent apa

Formal occasions: Tom Ford Noir for corporate suit n tie event,  Black Orchid dinner date

Outdoor / weekend: Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi,  citrus n fig works perfect under the hot sun hehe

IS true that weekend scents should be carefree and relax... where we recharge back ourself.
And i always stick to my mood and weather when wearing fragrance...
Here's my fav bottle always be with me...

I watched a video in youtube regarding perfume, longevity etc.. That guy said, if he used strong perfume such as joop, he will only spray once, or max 2 spray.. If he used armani code, he will spray 4-5 times.

1-2 spray, at each place ( neck, wrist, chest, hair) ?

Or 1-2 spray only, once at neck, once at chest, thats all?

Coz i'm using ck one, 212 men, gucci pour homme, i tend to spray 1 or 2 times at 1 place, ( 1 x neck, 1 x left wrist, 1 x right wrist, 1x chest, 1 x right forearm, 1x left forearm, 1 x back part of my neck).. Coz of the longevity. This perfume doesnt hold very long. Maybe 2-3 hours only. After that, no smell at all. Am i doing it wrong? Over-sprayed maybe?

I tried few perfumes yesterday. ADG, cool water, fahrenheit, eternity. Adg is really nice, for me. Cool water smells like detergent, sighhh. Fahrenheit, a strong perfume, smells like woody and leather, (smells like cinnamon to me, though no cinnamon at all), eternity no comment.

Going to buy more perfume after this. Waiting for my bvlgari aqua, versace eros to arrive next week.

I just go with my mood too most of the time but would sometimes consider weather, official meetings for d day , occasions & so on. It's all easy fun decision. Not working today so having on heavier hitters as I gona b outdoor whole day. Kuching weather not as steamy hot today & now even heavy rain, so my choice of A*Men fits me well....also spray some Encre Noire on both upper forehands hehe. Yea, sounds bit odd w such combo but I do spray diferen combo almos everyday now. Not adding new frag for some time d. Just replenish existing ones I hv. I'm stil into my old trusty TM range of Amen , havane & malt , LIDGE, DHI, PAPH, Memoirs ,TF's B orchid & G Vertiver, eau sauvage edp, meharees , TDH, EDBaux, etc. They always b with me . LoL. May get new additions once $ matters back to "normal " hahaha....gona take some time.

haha hk is a perfume lover trap and pit hole... i almost walk out with Casamoratti but then ended up with two kilians... most of the niches you can find there... remember go to Lane crawford at IFC if u wan try the world most expensive perfume... and when u at IFC please by all means drop by Tom Ford boutique, it is mindblowing awesome... then harvey nichols in tsim sha sui if u wan sniff the highly famed guerlain l'art et la maitre sdv.. cuir beluga, and armani privee...

Kilian is located at harvey nicols admiralty, the sa Jay is such a friendly sa who gave me plenty of samples lol... then theres a beauty shop there too which carry alot of mainstream niche, creed, mfk, frederic malle, czech and speake.. but the sa quite lansi but their attitude changed seeing me walking into their shop with my kilian purchase shopping bad brows.gif brows.gif

if u willing to spend HKD2,000 for a bottle then u are spoil with choices..

Thanks for the recommendation, would seriously consider going to all the location as you mentioned.

Killian seems awesome, I already few friends asking me to carry back a bottle for them tongue.gif

And definitely a peek at Tom Ford's! And maybe getting a 100ml of Tom Ford there too biggrin.gif

I have a feeling my bank would have a field day with my shopping blush.gif

haha no nid carry for ur friends coz u too bz buy for urself edi

TF either u go 50ml or Flacon, no in the middle 100ml ge, the bottle looks out of proportion... lol

Go for brands that you cant find either in MY or SG...

Xerjoff also a nice one as it is best fit our hot weather and the cap can be use as a murder weapon tongue.gif

kilian is worth exploring... i love my a taste of heaven to max and it is my signature lavender scent, green absinthe lavender and vanilla... gothic... Liaisons Dangereus is a nice fruity scent with rose in it, metrosexual. i love this and my gf love forbidden games so i guess i know wat to get for her when we go hk again next year

Couldn't have agreed more haha...

Price-wise MY was still cheaper before the GST! Most of the niche brands you can find it either in MY or SG already except for few hard-to-find luxury niche. Good thing is you can sample the hard-to-find luxury niche kao kao biggrin.gif

For those who wish to shop in HK, this is the most comprehensive guide :-
- http://your-perfume-guide.blogspot.com/201...kong-china.html

Most of them are up-to-date except for some, which I couldn't locate so make a call first before going there. Enjoy!

This guide would also require me to ask the bank to double my limit so that I could get everything laugh.gif

Thanks anyways, I would read up on it to make wiser shopping decisions tongue.gif
