I'm quite skeptical about it TBH. Saw Chanel No.5 EdT there. Retail price for 100ml is RM400 at Parkson.

thats because usually these online shops would sell old stock (i.e. 2-3 years after it was manufactured). A lot of retail stores get rid of bottles that are 2-3 years past their manufacturing date.

Sounds like it's pretty legit, eh? Prices for the other perfumes from this seller look pretty standard for an online price. Having said that, I'm still on the fence on this as Chanel is one the most counterfeited brands.

Actually went to test out some perfume. Davidoff cool water and cool water summer seas. Any commend on it? Does it last long? Am using it for weekends or going out at night. Suitable?

Those are more for casual wears. General rule of thumbs, fresh+citrus+light = day and heavy+sweet+leather+animalic+oriental (amber/vanilla based) = night. Having said that, it would be so boring if you had to stick to those rules. Just wear whatever that will make you feel good and happy wink.gif

that is very true though. I would rather buy my chanels in the counter and most discounters say that Chanel has a very tight distribution line and thus the discounted editions are very hard to come by.

These days after the currency thing going on, the price of buying them online from international sites and from the counters becomes the same for most of them or with only very little difference. i.e. strawberrynet is now selling their stuff at counter price.

hi guys... my friend is going to Singapore on June. I might ask her to buy perfume at changi airport. Is it true its much cheaper there than any store in MY? I've been eyeing Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio (been using last few years) and Paco Rabanne 1Million (Never tried).

The Chanel No.5 EdT I checked at Changi airport last month still priced higher than the one at local Parkson with GST included. Changi airport isn't the best place to shop for cheaper perfumes. Granted, it's still cheaper than retail in the city without VAT, I would recommend your friend trying discounters at Lucky Plaza instead. You can find plenty of AdG and 1M much cheaper than retail in Malaysia.

My friend didn't recommend lucky plaza due to bad experience she had last time.

I enjoy "tsar" by Van Cleef & Arpel (sp?) , "dreamer" by Versace and "eau sauvage"

all 3 are long lasting and exquisite.

eau sauvage is lasting? not more than 3 hours and it's barely there anymore. maybe it's just me

Thanks bro, end up buying Chanel Allure Homme Sport since I could not find the Terre d'Hermes in Sephora. Tried Bleu de Chanel and I don't know if it's just me but I found the smell quite similar to Chanel Allure Homme Sport
