interesting choice of lenses especially the macro, but decent budget choices nonetheless.

that's the best lens for macro in nikon system around 1.5k-2k price range tbh. the long focal length makes it easy to shoot concert/ wildlife/ portrait also smile.gif but handholding 225mm at 1:1 is super hard sweat.gif

for normal distance ok la, but when you are really near with your subject around 30cm to achieve the highest magnification, even framing is crazily hard. what's the normal cost to clean a d7k sensor? the unit i got suffered from some minor stain.

charges depends on whether its nikon malaysia or grey set, iirc its rm60 and rm150 respectively.
so if grey set, better go outside places like j-one in amcorp.

This newly-hatched bug are all over the place where I stay. Slow and tiny, this bug nymph prefers to stay still and not attracting any attention to itself.

The bug nymphs uses their proboscis to penetrate plant tissue to sip plant saps.

Noticed that Nikon's AWB tends to produce greener tones compared to Canon and Olympus, needs a little bit of time to get used to but requires quite a bit of color corrections sometimes sweat.gif

Canon is more magenta
Nikon is more green

the rest i duno, never tried extensively

i think mostly can see if you edit both brands pics side by side .. eg after events .. shooting same subjects.. same conditions. so hard to find middle ground.

You can keep your fighting spiders. At 1.5cm large (not even largest size), this fella will not only rip your spider apart, but will enjoy it for dinner! And don't let the size fool you, its still very fast and agile; making large orb spiders a joke, and other salticids puny.

This beautiful, Common Blue Jewel (previously known as Heliocypha perforata) was seen struggling to free his legs from some spider silk, and even resorting to chewing off the fine and sticky threads.

These damselflies prefer quiet, protected backwaters.

Freed the poor damselfly after I was done shooting smile.gif
