Brought 50/1.2 together with me to Dubai. Love it
Abit hard to focus but the output is dreamy. |

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Apr 7 2015, 07:22 PM) well, its your money so it is your choice whether to spend it in Msia or Spore as long as it gives you the value and satisfaction. In fact, a few of my friends like to buy their lenses from Hong Kong as well. QUOTE(jchue73 @ Apr 8 2015, 01:11 AM) Your question is not stupid or illegal. No rules broken. If I was looking for a 24-70mm f/2.8 and if it's true that SG is selling it cheaper, I'll buy it without hesitation since Nikon lenses carry 1 year international warranty. Some more if you happen to fly in to SG (not via JB Causeway), you can claim back SG GST. Not full 7% though. It's 5% only if I'm not wrong. QUOTE(Everdying @ Apr 8 2015, 11:38 AM) u can actually buy import set 24-70 for rm5.5k here. thanks to all sifu's reply, and in between time yes i found several shop in klang valley selling grey set, 1 year local warranty, and i think it is sufficient for me... i did call and ask the shop whether the price listed is inclusive GST or not, and they replied already include GST... cheapest i found grey set is around 5390 which sell by miyamondo, and they have several branch in klang valley, include Taipan USJ, sunway pyramid, PJ uptown, and inside Tesco Kepong Village... maybe i will buy from them when i pay a visit to KL... it should also have international warranty, so why bother going SG to buy? or as mentioned, just buy used for rm4.5k or so. 2nd hand set, yes it always will be my 1st choice, as i know 2nd hand will be cheaper, but hard to find nice 2nd hand set, especially with box, hood, case etc... and yes the price range is from 4.4-4.7k... anyway still doing research on it which type shall i go, 2nd hand or grey set, but for sure nikon malaysia set is out of range, as the price is too high, after GST inclusive.. |

If you are planning to get from Miyamondo for Ap set, remember to call them 1st. IINM, AP set is not ready stock. Is pre-order unit. QUOTE(patienceGNR @ Apr 6 2015, 11:30 AM) many long time i no kambing here. I have this problem last time with my tamron. Mine is randomly over expose by a lot. I found out that a lever at the lens mount there that control the aperture is stuck sometimes or sticky and wont spring back to default position. By default when u take out ur lens the aperture should be smallest opening. Mine i can show the tamron centre when i take out the lens the aperture is open widest. They fixed it for me and no more problem after that. Nikon aperture controlled by lever, canon is controlled electronicallyguys after a long hiatus, idk why my camera (more likely lens) got problem. anyone know where can i send lens for repairs? i not sure how serious it is but f11 onwards the lens will be 'overexposing' all the photos. my other lens doesn't. at times if its not overexposed, it'll be all dark. it's a tokina 12-24 lens. |

Way bulkier and heavier than my N24-70. Whenever I hold the lens have to be extra careful not to drop the keg. This post has been edited by 168257061: Apr 9 2015, 11:04 AM |

Green Scarab Beetle- Anomala sp.) by PF T.J., on FlickrA common, likely female Green Scarab beetle with an attractive, metallic bronze underside and legs. The beetle may be slow and clumsy, but it is very well protected by its thick and tough armour. Due to the short life cycle of only 1 month (from egg to adult), this species of butterflies can produce many broods per year.
