Takara's "Slingshot" will not be released individually.

Saw the other pictures of it as well and it appears to be quite satisfactory. Can't wait for the actual figure to arrive =P

Finally completed my Warbotron Bruticus.

In terms of quality and engineering he still doesn't beat Feral Rex as the best combiner ever - but IMO he's possibly the best looking combiner.

There was no way he was going to fit in my Detolf unless I put him in an awkward pose or removed one of the glass partitions.

Any issues on yours? and just want to ask where did you get him from ? plus does yours come with extra parts for Airburst ? Lol sorry for so many questions.. I'm trying to see if our asian batch has allt hose things etc..

Haha no worries.

1) My PO was with 1 Toy. Fierce Attack just arrived there a few days ago but for some reason they didn't advertise on FB (maybe they only have enough stock for PO customers).

2) Yeah it comes with the extra Airburst torso.

3) In terms of QC I have yet to find any problems worth mentioning. The legs are a bit hard to insert into the connectors, one of mine doesn't fully go in by about 1mm. The engineering is a bit primitive in some places. The plastic quality feels crude and fragile in some parts too. And unlike Feral Rex he has a few parts that don't tab in, they just hang loose (like Airburst's arms in limb mode).

Hxiik mentioned we should watch out for 2 things:

1) The wrist connectors on the left and right hands should each be of a DIFFERENT thickness. Apparently some people have been getting the same thickness, which would cause the wrists to not sit flush on one of the limbs.

2) Some people have apparently been getting two left feet.

Thankfully I didn't get either of the above issues. Happy with the set, am going to order Computron next.

How much did Fierce Attack cost? I have no interest in getting the entire team(too big for me liao), but if the price is right I might get FA alone just to give him a repaint into Nemmy/Optimus

Haha, what figure - especially one as complex as this - doesn't have potential issues?

I saw that review but didn't have the patience to sit through 2 hours of footage.

Like I said, mine is completely acceptable apart from the issues mentioned. Not a perfect figure by any means, but no regrets because he just looks too damn good.

I don't expect to see a better Bruticus come out anytime soon.

I do wish he was a bit smaller though. Takes up way too much space.

I find that his size is his main appeal.. and what torture, knowing its in stock but my PO is 5000km away
