Non earth based? As in Cybertronian vehicles? Interesting.

Yeah there are definitely less commercially interesting Decepticons... but I'd love to see an official MP Galvatron, Cyclonus, Scourge, Scorponok, Astrotrain, Octane, Blitzwing, Sixshot, etc...
*
agreed with the triple changer MP. hexatron is really awesome, hard to think that taktom can't do something along the line, don't have to be better. sixshot has simple transformation anyway.

my brain formulated an interesting topic to discuss (for those of us who don't buy MP and 3rd party stuff sweat.gif ).

"what do you think is the most underrated tf you have in your collection?"
here's some t&c so we don't go off topic too much
- pick just 1 from any series/class
- obviously, it has to be some relatively unknown supporting character. main character are usually overrated.
- state reason(s): why you underrate it?, why you now think it's actually good? etc
- add pic so people can see
- put in spoiler so it's more fun to discover

P/s Donno y, I Lose Interest A Bit On TF,
cannot find Excuse Too Hunt... Must Go To KAUNSELING to keep back on track

same here. i see only 2 reasons for this:
1. TF has lost it credibility. especially after Bay's screwed design. animated TF has been catered to children, so the only options are MPs, 3rd parties and some generations. which really only leaves you with generations as the 1st 2 are paycheck eaters. never a good thing when hobbies starts eating your paycheck. shakehead.gif
2. getting too old for TF doh.gif .

the only redeemable figure from bayformers is rotf LC OP. that's about it that caught my interest. the line that really rekindled my TF interest was alternators and MP. michael bay has nothing to do with it vmad.gif rolleyes.gif . i wish there were more alt/BT to choose from before the discontinued it.

as for the recent animated cartoons, i'd sooner buy something from galaxy force.

these days, it seems that the figures that attracts me are from generations, that did not come from the movies or animated series. i'm already picky when buying TF, now given a small list to pick from, it's rclxub.gif . the last i bought were spirnger and sandstorm, and i think those 2 were great. sized nicely with alternators too. thumbup.gif

I'm actually referring to all the animated series in general as not pinpointing only towards the RID 2014 series. Animated Blurr for one and the TFP line of figures in general are in my book some very well made figures. Eventhough they don't incorporate complicated transformation mechanism such as ROTF OP not to mention some of them are even somewhat simplified but they serve the purpose and fit persona of the character which they are based on. This is what made them interesting to me.

...
*
for the record, i'm also referring to all the recent animated series. starting from TF animated up to whatever it is now.....(see i don't even have interest in the shows anymore. maybe it's mid life crisis cry.gif )

Actually maybe this is stupid OP for some tf fans because it can't transformation.

But its good for me because this is diecast and details is crazy nice. 2 cents.
*
similar to the case of dmk-01. it's easy to have crazy details when it can't transform.

getting something like this is difficult. brows.gif

Star Saber was a character from Transformers: Masterforce right? My Transformers era ended after G1 ended. It didn't follow through thereafter. Somehow, the "Masterforce" concept did not catch up to me =/
......

star saber is from the TF series with the catchiest theme song thumbup.gif .

nothing beats that opening theme to this day IMO. nod.gif

Hmm... So does this mean nowadays China production has better QC than Vietnam hmm.gif ? Last time it was usually the other way around unsure.gif...
*
well actually no. this is basically the bane of reissue stuff. happens to MP01 & MP04 as well, with the chest plate misalignment. if you use a mold too many times, the fitting won't be exact anymore. so that + minute thickness difference in painting = don't tab properly cry.gif . i assume some wont have the issue, but a majority will.

hey guys, i suddenly feel the need to complete the alternator/BT mould that i still don't have. so do let me know if you are interested to let go of the following:
- Impreza(silverstreak or smokescreen prefered, richochet acceptable too)
- wrangler(hound or rollbar)
- s2000(windcharger)
- acura(not sure if there were alternator prowl, but will consider BT prowl)

i prefer alternators but will consider BT.

but he's selling the whole set. i don't want the whole set. don't like to own redundant mould. there are a few users here who sold the whole set before too. had to skip those.

thanks though.
