Question for everyone:

What would you do if you buy an MISB TF from someone, and the item turns out to have a defect or missing part?

Would you ask the seller to refund you?

And if you're the seller, would you accept responsibility, given that the item is MISB?

(This is assuming it's been too long for the seller to return the item to the place he originally bought it from.)

Agreed, MIB is better to me.

Anyway, the only noticeable difference between MIB and MISB is a strip of selotape... and that can be easily replaced.

Made in China.

Apart from the erratic QC I think it's a decent figure, just not anywhere near the best MP.

In fact engineering wise, it's probably the most simple figure so far.

TakTom is also reissuing Coronation Starscream. Was supposed to be in March but still waiting. No sign of their Lambor reissue either sad.gif

It was an official announcement apparently, definitely more than just a rumor:

http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/t...in-2015-180036/

The thing is the updates have been erratic.

As mentioned I have a PO for MP11 which was due in March, but no updates.

MP10 reissue is definitely coming, POs were widely available.

But I haven't seen any PO or news for Lambor or Red Alert, which were supposed to be part of the reissue plans!

P.S. Found a link to the Lambor reissue, was supposed to be due in Feb:

Don't bother by the word limited. After KO market come in... it just another piece of KO which everyone can get if they want. I am not encouraging KO, but I feel if anyone going to buy this, they might think why not spend less and get a KO...
*
1) Because KO quality is not always the same (sometimes it's the same, and in some cases it's even better (e.g. certain MP10 KO), but it often has silly mistakes like spelling errors on the Lambor KOs).

2) Because KO has less desirability and resale value, even after factoring in the lower upfront cost.

3) Because owning KO figures is like owning a fake luxury watch. You may be able to fool everyone else, but you can't fool yourself.

If a person doesn't care about any of that, then ok lah I guess KO is still an option.

Just send them a PM on Facebook and mention what you preordered.

In my experience the code is not even necessary but to be safe I guess you can enter it in the transaction description if you're paying thru M2U.

Typically, you get a coin when your seller gets his stock from Hasbro Asia.

It's the direct Japan imports that don't come with coin.

That's why if you notice, the coins all say Hasbro on them.

I suspect this is Hasbro Asia's way of encouraging us to get from them, instead of unofficial Japan imports. They want more control over the market.

I'm also a bit confused on how GST will affect foreign shipments.

Is it possible that it could be cheaper to ship TF from overseas (Singapore specifically) versus buying locally and paying GST?

I think there will be taxes if your foreign shipment is more than some amount, like how Australia's system works.

So you need to pay the tax, then, only you can get your shipment.

Definitely not buying Badcude Wardog now. It is just not worth it after another 6% on it.
*
Thanks! Yeah I'm stepping away from Wardog too... RM400+ for that is a little hard to justify.

RM400+ for Apollyon, however, no problem brows.gif

Yeah I preordered DX9 not-Astrotrain.

He looks flawed, but good enough to buy.

Plus I don't imagine we'll be seeing an official MP Astrotrain anytime soon.

And the RM440-ish pricetag is worth it for a triple changer with that level of size and detail.

The one thing stopping me from getting him is the random part that goes nowhere in other modes (and also the fat shuttle mode)...Has recent reviews shown where the part goes?

I found it pretty strange because one of the early ads from UT DX9 stated that their transformer will transform without removing any parts
*
Yeah that rogue panel was weird indeed.

AFAIK there have been no new reviews, all the reviews from 1+ months ago were test shots that came with no instructions.

I'm hoping there is an obvious answer to it that the reviewers just missed out on. Or that they've modified it in between test shot and production phase (unlikely, I know).

Nice, MP12G is awesome, one of my favorite MP figures!

I think I'm one of the only people who likes it more than the original.
