it's likely international. (send back to the seller for warranty claims)

Just managed to clone my multi partition HDD tp SSD (have issues from the last thread https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2874570/+2540)

Found Drive Clone 11 (Farstone) , free for personal use.
Excellent! So far this the only software i know that can clone multi partitions and auto resize it. Damn easy to use.

http://www.farstone.com/software/drive-clone.php

I don't have to reinstall all my licensed program again.

Ok. my SSD upgrade review.

So far, the boot up time of Win 7 Pro is much quicker (now only took 30% loading time vs my old HDD, and programs load up faster as well on my Transcend370 256GB SSD.

Money well spent ! This is after all budget class SSD.

Farstone was free for personal use.

Or you mean license key for other software that was cloned?
Only 1 proprietary software required re-enter (non Microsoft), others no need.

windows OS /MS office key no need.

Performance good enough for me, OS loading startup / resume time obviously fast.

Meh, I think I'll just get new Powerlines since this ones belong to my boss and is one of the older models.

One thing I did notice though. From cold start to Windows is faster now. But it takes slightly longer to shut down. Dafuq is with my PC.

But yeah, no more crashes, BSOD or software glitches ever since I got rid of the TP Link drivers.

Running and loading of programs also will be faster.

In short, your PC feel more responsive.

As for your question on upgrade on your vista lappy, yeah it should work.

But I bet your lappy is SATA2 (or older perharps), so the speed will be capped accordingly. But economical and convenience sake, just go out and grab SATA3 HDD.

The speed will be capped, but still far faster than HDD.
