Moto 360 2nd gen no speaker...so you cannot use the watch itself for calls, need a bluetooth headset connected to the phone.

Reply text by typing on screen need specific app I think...but I did not try before.

All these watches uses Android Wear...whether typing on watch or not, have to find the app, nothing to do with the watch itself.

And yes, Huawei Watch got speaker, with latest update can make call and answer call.

Don't think the moto360 has speakers. So it can't make calls.

You can make call or receive call from moto360, but trigger phone speaker automatically.
No a big problem with that.

ASUS Zenwatch 2 on GemFive is sold out.
Left the orange color variant, but the small size model.

Still, no confirmation from GemFive on the watch size. (Big or Small)
But GemFive do update the watch detail correctly this time, WI501Q now is 1.65" with 320 x 320 resolution, the WI502Q is 1.45" with 280 x 280 resolution.

I've received their reply email yesterday morning. And in the same time, they already amended the specifications. Coincidentally, all the 1.63 variants were sold out. Not sure whether some one bought it or they just list it as sold out. Now waiting for the stock to available again. Btw.. it's not Gemfive who sell the item directly.. but it's from their merchant. Not sure who.. maybe Directed or 1Gadget.

Got some love and hate feel on round or square smartwatch.

Round watch look handsome on hand, but it is only suitable for round watch.
For other smart feature to display, and type on round smartwatch is a little awkward.

Then, on square watch, it look more conventional, and old fashion.
But it is more like a small smartphone on a wrist, which can display and used more properly.
May look lame if put side by side with a round smartwatch.

Should try wear both on wrist before considering ya????

You may search some on Lazada, or Lelong.

So if your LG Urbane is bought from SG, so it's warranty on SG?
Or it's warranty is from Korea, from where it is imported?

I like round watch also, but since this is the 1st AW, and the price is still a little bit steep IMO,
so maybe spend less get the zenwatch 2 and see how, just not the person who can spend 1k+
on a smartwatch... 600-700 seems just the right spot.. I owned a pebble steel btw, another square

If only they could design a square AW with tiny bezel, IINM all square smartwatch have huge bezel ( like above ZW ), even Apple Watch's bezel aint tiny. If they pull out large square screen AW with tiny bezel ( or no bezel rclxms.gif like moto 360 ), I bet it will looks much nicer, rather than toy watch of current gen square AW.

I agree with you Square makes a better smartwatch. But the way Google approach Android Wear is not for you to keep using your watch for "smart" actions, but more of a complementing accessory for your phone, i.e. it will assist you in a non-intrusive way...it is just there to assist you when you need it, and not demanding your attention to it. So other than that, one would probably want to keep it looking as close as possible to a conventional watch. I used to use the LG G Watch (Square), but I soon realize I want it to look more like a watch, that is why I switched to the Moto 360.

Plus there are many custom watchfaces for round watches, less for square. tongue.gif

Seller is based in SG, but he will send back to Korea for warranty purpose.

Thanks for correcting me, Oh means can talk to the watch but the reply will come from phone - speaker mode?

I used to have a china "bluetooth' smartwatch, which had speakers, but I didn't like it, talking and receiving replies via the watch. It was like a speakerphone, and all those ppl surrounding me can hear my conversations.
