QUOTE(singgung @ Feb 15 2016, 09:53 AM) That's a bummer. Looks like it's a mix bag in term of BT connectivity. Already ask lazada CS regarding this. They said it is indeed smaller size. Seems like seller won't sell the bigger size on this platform (lazada/gemfive).In gemfive the product code is wi501q which should be the bigger version but the description / specs shows 1.45". Lol. QUOTE(Alan Yee @ Feb 15 2016, 10:34 AM) True.So. I might going to find ZW2 this weekend. Any place got stock other than directd/1gadget? hehe |

QUOTE(singgung @ Feb 16 2016, 09:53 AM) Correct. Wow.. Nice. I think better buy at Gem5 than shops. Can get for less price. HeheLooks like Gemfive has revised their specs wi501q to 1.65" except the one with orange strap which shows wi501q but with 1.45". This is more in line with the press release in previous page on which model/colour/strap combinations being brought in officially by asus malaysia. Do let us know if u find any place with display unit. I can't commit to buy online until after I'm sure the watch is not too big on my wrist. Only 1 tiny details that bother me though... the screen size should be 320x320 278ppi for 1.63" version. But i already send an email to CS for clarification. Just waiting for them to reply. |

QUOTE(Alan Yee @ Feb 16 2016, 11:15 AM) Buy la... then let us know. Hehehe. I'm waiting CS email me 1st. Only then i will order. I dont mind the watch size on my wrist. I have 7" wrist diameter btw. Quite small. But hey... only the 1.63" model got speaker on it. |

QUOTE(Alan Yee @ Feb 21 2016, 07:40 PM) So, anyone has reply from GemFive for confirming the Zenwatch 2 spec? Haven't received their reply. I've been waiting since Wednesday. Hopefully they will update tomorrow. Btw... If I'm not mistaken.... The ZW2 comes with 14days return back policy for incorrect items.(The bigger 1.63" Zenwatch 2 with 320x320 resolution) I seldom like to call for CS, cause CS them self also not clear about the spec, and just simply commit on phone. |

Anyone bought ZW2 from GEMFIVE recently? Appeared no more stock accept the smaller orange band liao. Or maybe they take down due to incorrect spec details?

QUOTE(Alan Yee @ Feb 26 2016, 11:02 AM) ASUS Zenwatch 2 on GemFive is sold out. I've received their reply email yesterday morning. And in the same time, they already amended the specifications. Coincidentally, all the 1.63 variants were sold out. Not sure whether some one bought it or they just list it as sold out. Now waiting for the stock to available again. Btw.. it's not Gemfive who sell the item directly.. but it's from their merchant. Not sure who.. maybe Directed or 1Gadget.Left the orange color variant, but the small size model. Still, no confirmation from GemFive on the watch size. (Big or Small) But GemFive do update the watch detail correctly this time, WI501Q now is 1.65" with 320 x 320 resolution, the WI502Q is 1.45" with 280 x 280 resolution. |

QUOTE(singgung @ Feb 28 2016, 07:20 PM) I was finally able to have a look & try the zenwatch 2. A slightly smaller overall size & an even smaller bezel would be perfect but as a whole it is a good looking watch. Only one thing stood out and i went to see huawei watch & moto 360 just for comparison - it really was laggy when scrolling the long list of menu and it was quite noticeable too. But i might try wearable with this watch. Too bad gemfive has been sold out for few days already. Hi.. may i know which ZW2 size you tried on? Did you meant ZW2 laggy when scrolling? I haven't saw any demo unit for 1.63 ZW2 here in KK. Only 1.45 and need to ask shop keeper to try on. |
