while the World Bank is pessimistic about Russia...
the actual results may not shows the same....

Top performing Markets

Russia (+15.7% in 1Q 2015 in SGD terms)
Russia (+18.0% in 1Q 2015 in MYR terms)
Even though the situation in Russia still remains weak, expected returns are now higher than before, and hence, we are upgrading Russia’s star ratings to 4.5 stars “Very Attractive” – the Russian equity market is a buying opportunity for aggressive, patient, and long-term investors willing to stomach and ride out near-term volatility.

Hi everyone,

I'm about to invest in CIMB-PRINCIPAL ASIA PACIFIC DYNAMIC INCOME FUND. The agent at the CIMB branch recommended it. My question is:

What is the difference between buying from the bank and buying from Fundsupermart? Is it better to buy from Fundsupermart as I've read that the sales charges are significantly lower?

I'm investing for long-term, so I don't check the market conditions everyday. Looking at 5-year horizon or even longer.

Appreciate your advice. Thank you!
*
The difference:

1. Lower SC with FSM
2. Fund is not under your name but to FSM's trustee
3. For longer term, you should consider CIMB-Principal PRS Plus Asia Pacific Ex Japan Equity - Class C as it is a feeding to CIMB-PRINCIPAL ASIA PACIFIC DYNAMIC INCOME FUND at 0% SC. However, before jumping into it, reading what PRS is all about first.

what about the previous concerns like shadow banking, housing bubble, low GDP, etc...
Are those concerns still there or solved?

Due to the slowing risk, China is performing selective easing.

China stocks jumped more than 2% to fresh seven-year highs on Tuesday ahead of the quarterly earnings season, as investors brushed aside liquidity concerns after the official Xinhua news agency said an acceleration in initial public offerings would not stop the market's bull run. - See more at: http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/busines...h.QSYFOimY.dpuf
