Anybody want to put a bet on this:
QUOTE “That gap just got so big between the two. I firmly believe that over the course of the next 12-24 months Chinese stocks will be significantly higher than where they are now, certainly enough to compensate that kind of volatility.” URL: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/video-dollar...-010847696.html |

QUOTE(JAIDK23 @ Apr 9 2015, 11:17 PM) i wanna go lump sum .. but few weeks back then, i was thinking of Eastspring Investments Asia Pacific Ex-Japan Target Return Fund. but lately..china seems.. id say quite promising The question is that how long does the current hot stream can last.Next is that, China market has been up more than 50% for nearly a year. Can it be still sustainable? This post has been edited by David83: Apr 9 2015, 11:22 PM |

QUOTE(cappuccino vs latte @ Apr 9 2015, 11:24 PM) EIAP Ex-Jp TRF also got investments in Greater China. Of course, on top of that, EIAPTRF should be an actively managed fund in order to achieve 8/10% p.a Compared to a pure China fund, it have a better risk leverage. Any actively managed fund for China or Greater China? CIMB-PRINCIPAL GREATER CHINA EQUITY FUND is a feeder fund. |

Chinese H Shares: A Feast Of Revaluation
The rally in the Chinese and Hong Kong markets was mainly due to the various measures implemented in mainland China, which helped alleviate investors’ concern over local debts, the falling property prices and bad debts in China’s banks, leading to revaluation in both equity markets 1. DEFUSING THE “BOMB” FOR LOCAL DEBTS 2. DEFUSING THE “BOMB” FOR THE PROPERTY MARKET 3. DEFUSING THE “BOMB” FOR BANKS 4. MAINLAND FUNDS MOVE SOUTHWARDS 5. Russian outlook improves:
"The oil price has stopped falling and is behaving better now, the geopolitical noise has subsided, financial stress in the local market has been reduced dramatically and at the margin, macro conditions are showing some modest signs of improvement,” Benoit Anne, the head of emerging-market strategy at Societe Generale SA in London, said by e-mail. “You put all these in a blender and you end up with a good ruble cocktail.” URL: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/201...convert-dollars |

Kenanga Asian Total Return Fund supposed to have exposure in Japan but I didn't see any holding so far. LOL
Based on its February 2015 fact sheet, it holds 20% cash! Since December 2014, it has nearly 20% cash. Why it needs so many cash for? This post has been edited by David83: Apr 12 2015, 05:12 PM |
