any reason why china side very "hot" now ? i saw all NAV with china specific funds all gain.. but whats the cause of the gain ?

ur fund will expose to forex thus even though CNY stock up but MYR stronger, the u will equally not earn anything.

thanks looks like the rally due to gov policies easing of investment and cap flow.. into china..

but how actually is "china" market ? good cause everyone rushing in ? or good outlook for short and mid term ?

myr will get stronger ? or will rmb get stronger while myr become stagnant/lagging ?

i would leave that to the FM.....
i guess because it is a govt policy changes, it is good for the short to mid term or until the valuation is higher....

There's always going to be FX exposure ... unless you go for MYR hedged but I'm not aware of any funds on FSM that are MYR hedged (not that I've looked)

i think in "many" of the foreign exposed funds, the FM are doing some kind of the hedge to mitigate currency risk...noticed that in the prospectus

Hedge or not is up to the FM absolute discretion, so is his decision in buying and selling of the fund assets.

yes....not fully hedged...
full hedging may be a double edged sword too.
