Shipment has arrived!
Slapped the worker's Pump grip and some tacticool attachments. Love this lol but it did add some substantial weight to the blaster. And unnecessarily long.

[attachmentid=5970335]
Foldable stock is kewl, though.

Anddd the long awauted Recon Mk II!
[attachmentid=5970336]
[attachmentid=5970337]
[attachmentid=5970338]
[attachmentid=5970339]

To my surprised, I actually got the revised batch of Mk 2 that accepts 10 rounds banana and 18 rounds etc mags.

The greatest improvement of the Mk 2 over the Retaliator is definitely the tapered breech.
[attachmentid=5970341]

The Mk2 is a great improvement over the Retaliator. It primes extremely smooth, priming the 5kg OMW spring on the Mk 2 is as light and smooth as priming a stock spring Retaliator! I am guessing the tapered breech has contributed to that, and perhaps a better designed shell/internals.

And then I tried to do the same on my Retaliator OMW Breech. And it works too, priming are much smoother, and it doesn't damage the tail of the dart anymore!
[attachmentid=5970343]
[attachmentid=5970344]

Some are curious, how does the V-shape tapering prevents damage to the dart and provide a smoother priming.
I'll explain briefly in the next post.

Delivery time are dependent on the type of service you or the agent use.
I think I've waited for around 2 weeks also.

It's not available yet in our shore. But for reference, I saw Isetan in Midvalley selling the Modulus Ion fire for RM99.
Its MSRP in the US is 14.99USD. So..Go figure. lol

Airpak should be ok geh. It depends how your agent manage the parcel and shipment lor. But yeah it's unlikely you will get it anytime soon. Should be after 15th Feb. I got another shipment also delayed to after 15th Feb.

This is why I don't use agent or Taobao own direct shipping.

Shameless plug-in my referral link. So far I have no issues with them(using them for over 1 year+ now). In fact, there is one case when I'm shipping over mobile phone, they even called me to coordinate everything(they are in JB). Tho I saw some people leave bad comments on their Facebook so it's your call.

np. i bought that and am happy with it. the diamond disc works great for cutting metal. do note though the min speed is like 10k rpm, so it tends to melt nerf plastic. laugh.gif

So its hard to cut nerf plastic because its too fast?

I plan to use it to make holes on my nerf gun. Maybe in future, to make some brass breech.

it's easy to cut(like hot knife through butter laugh.gif ), but if you're not careful, you can over cut stuff. get the package with the 100 kit, it has everything you need for nerf modding.

if you HAVE to mod it to make it work good, then it can't be "the best". laugh.gif

how's the performance of slingfire? that thing is growing on me. simply because of the style points. it's not practical in any way, but damn that thing got style yo! laugh.gif does it work good with larger clips?

Just laid down some tacticool rails on my Retaliator. Looks better than the stripped looking of the Retaliator when a pump grip is installed IMO.
