I was there this morning too [at mid valley]. The sales lady, Jo, told me a shocker: No 1 year warranty for DS lite. Just 3 months. And it doesn't even cover dead pixels and cracked hinge.

WTH?!?!?! Then what for paying the extra when the warranty doesn't even cover dead pixel and the infamous cracked hinge?!?!?!

Haha...if the situation was reversed (Counter opening at 1U first instead of MV), I would be wishing the same thing for one to be opened in MV. MV is just 5 minutes away from my office, without considering the traffic jam.

Might as well not give warranty at all...

Strange, I've heard otherwise from Blake, who heard it himself from the distributor. Perhaps she was misinformed? I'd have to check with Blake once he comes back Monday from the CelGames in Penang.

Hmm.. How sure are we that this booth is from nintendo? The official booth? And not just another booth provided by Metrojaya?

The booth is from Maxsoft, which is Singapore's official Nintendo distributor. So, it's gonna be that official.

And by the way, its Jusco XD

I'm not quite sure they're from Maxsoft. When I asked a staff at the booth (Jo, her name), she said they weren't. Instead, she named me two companies which I had forgotten their names. So conflicting!! rclxub.gif

Ok jusco.
Sorry bout that.
The thing is this, jusco might just pour in a new booth. set up all the items and then called it a nintendo official booth by telling nintendo they are selling their stuff in Jusco.
Hence all the privilige and whats not is not really enforced .

Just a thought htough

I think we should wait for a reply or more info from Blake. I mean, he talked to the distributor, so he's as close as we can get to a valid source. No point panicking now anyway.

BTW, I was there yesterday, the buntings and other media there had a maxsoft email address printed on the lower end, which ties in with the idea of Maxsoft as distro?
