Azureus for download and seeding.

Utorrent still got bugs with their super seed mechanism. But then again not all of us create files to upload right so does not matters..

Bitspirit uses Bitcomet's core. So the performance almost the same.

So far still the best for super seed is using Bittornado's core. I use it for initial upload.

Never use Bitcomet cause it will flood my router with too many unnecessary connection and their DHT too aggressive...the speed so so only..

bittornado (2003)-> bitcomet -> utorrent (now)

bittornado
pros
- simple gui n straightforward
cons
- doesnt support multitracker (back in those days)
- doesnt offer much tweak options
- 1 cleant for 1 torrent. imagine u leech n seed at sametime =__=

bitcomet
pros
- better gui that bittornado.
- customizable & tweakable for optimizing speed
cons
- err, memory consumptions?

utorrent
pro
- no need installer
- as good as bitcomet
cons
(none so far)

*i notice near to unnoticable speed difference between clients. so, if u know what to tweak, theres no reason client A is faster than B or such

I've completely dumped Bitcomet, currently using uTorrent (for local trackers) and Tuotu (for some HK contents)

Though I'm using a 1mbps line, it's very hard to get >100KBps of speed for a single task.

BitComet so far haven't failed me yet, so it's the main I will use.. uTorrent only for some forums' recommendation or "limitation" purpose smile.gif

No difference basically.

Installation - just like your usual installer. It's being installed in the standard Program Files folder

Stand alone - no installation needed, juz exe. The benefit is, you can save it in your secondary partition/hard drive, and it's unaffected even after you re-format your OS
