Eh last time they brought high-tech machinery from Germany. I believe by now the machinery should be in working condition, right?
*
Im not sure about that.. The problems are with the minor things. A tech in one of the KHL depts said they have insufficient tools to perform their work. Sometimes have to use their own, take their car tools or wherever they can find. Most of the times, adjustables are their weapon. Equipments also breakdown frequently and they have to repair by themselves. Imagine glueing tyre tube to the diaphragm of a pump for hydrotesting. They requested new tools/equipments many times but rejected.

Their EM is my BFF. The guy is looking for hardworking engineers. You'd better "show" your willingness to work hard and long hours to him if he interviews you.

And speak good English; fluency in English is sometimes used as a tie-breaker to select new engineers who are at equal standings. Now there are many engineers to select from and you must be lucky to be invited for a job interview with them.

Good luck. Competition to get into O&G consultant is very fierce now.  brows.gif

In my mind, there are two known offshore crane maker which is Handal Engineering and Favelle Falco.

You might also want to check Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Mitsubishi MHI but these crane maker are not really popular in Malaysia offshore market BUT very big competitive player at overseas market.

Design type? Configuration? I dunno lol ayam not a Structural Engineer lol

I think you should have a look at ALE heavylift for state of the art cranes. Its not widely used in Malaysia though.
Im a noob about the types. All I know is pedestal crane and tower crane for offshore. ALE has something I believe you have never seen before.
