Hi all. Have anyone been invited to interview by Wood Group Mustang? They are hiring for quite a number of positions. Do they secure long term proj recently? =)

Yes. They clinched an EPCM contract with EMEPMI for brownfield works. If they offer you a contract post jangan fikir banyak just take it. Do not ask about working environment and such. Cukurlah.

In fact I am also preying for Contract Manager with WGM but their requirement is too high. Damn.

Thanks Abang Yakup for the advice. I'll be very syukur if they offer..

Their EM is my BFF. The guy is looking for hardworking engineers. You'd better "show" your willingness to work hard and long hours to him if he interviews you.

And speak good English; fluency in English is sometimes used as a tie-breaker to select new engineers who are at equal standings. Now there are many engineers to select from and you must be lucky to be invited for a job interview with them.

Good luck. Competition to get into O&G consultant is very fierce now.  brows.gif

Not downsizing but reducing working hours on Fridays. I think its a good move. So everybody's salaries are cut slightly.

for those with commitment, they will feel the pain for the salary cut

But surprisingly, when we offer new job to candidate with 35% increment comparing with his last salary. He refuse to accept & asking 85% increment.

And yet he just 3 years experience and just being lay off from his company.

I LOL hard on this guy...
*
wow 35% is a good offer at this time. willing to work 5.5 days, instead of 4.5 days.

If its Sales Engineer from Petrofac, I believe the roles either from Petrofac-KW Subsea or Petrofac-SPD Well Engineering. YOU MUST ACE THIS INTERVIEW SESSION. This will be a good ticket for you for a huge exposure in Upstream and Downstream O&G at large.

Do your homework about KW-Subsea and SPD Well Engineering, these subsidiaries are wholly owned by Petrofac.

Again, I repeat, YOU MUST ACE THIS INTERVIEW SESSION.

if not mistaken, KW subsea recruitment has been frozen.
