FYI, I do contact ACER about the warranty. They say that we can upgrade any hardware into any ACER Model, as long as there's no any damage to the hardware. As for sticker, it's for safety purpose so that their service shop can know if someone try to open it up (from unauthorized shop/ person). If wanna upgrade hardware, better go to the official re-seller shop and have them help you upgrade

Better.. My screen has developed some color defect. Looks like I can finally send it in to have it fixed and upgrade to an ssd as well.. Will leave the 1TB hard drive in.. As a "data drive".. Now to choose a decent SSD.. Any thoughts? Mine's the VN7-591G-744N.

If you mean .M2 SSD Slot, you might wanna go to authorised Acer reseller and have them help you choose. For me, I wanna add in M2 SSD (around 128gb) + 8gb DDR4 Memory

Or you can ask on other forum and see if they can help you decide the SSD

Yes.. the M.2 SSD slot. Thinking of 128/256GB too.. Last year, I dropped by Acer's authorized center @ Plaza Lowyat to ask about such and was told that need to buy the SSD ourselves, then bring to them to install. Perhaps, their stance has changed?

It might be. But if they still say that, perhaps you need to buy the .M2 SSD from other shop, then request them to help you install

Hye guys, my Aspire VN7-572g has very slow response when i try to open folder/picture. But when browsing website, play video no prob, very smooth.The only problem is on the file explorer. The thumbnail also not showing on the file explorer.

Anyone encounter this prob?

Perhaps too much pr0n.. Just kidding, could just be Windows being too cluttered.

*Try using the system tool to clear a lot of junk data.
*Check disk for errors or potential failure.
*Uninstall every single thing you have no immediate use for.
*Restart the device and run Disk Defrag..
*If all above still fails, consider switching to a proper SSD.
*Else, time to nuke that Windows install and do a fresh installation. Which I prefer and is one of the very first things I did on mine.

Hi, i wanna ask about my new laptop that is aspire VN7-592G , processor i5-6300hq , graphics nvidea gtx960m. it a bit slower lately like when i playing game.a game like gta v,tomb rider,metal gear solid and assassins creed. i found it a bit lag and i dont like it.how i wanna overcome this problem. pless help me

Can you further explain slow and lag? Is it low FPS?

Could be many reasons. Update your drivers and graphics card is the first thing you should do. Second, check if it's not overheating issues. Beyond that, ask again after you checked both of that.
