bought an acer monitor to pair with this laptop, r221q

Nah.. Still using mine.. Only complaints I have so far are the uncomfortably warm palm area (right side) and the lack of a display port. Anyone know where to get the Dolby Audio software? Did a clean flash and can't seem to find the compatible installation file..

Anyone facing unable boot windows 10 out. The screen keep showing black screen without loading Acer logo out.

This irrigating stuff happen recently not quite sure related with NVidia driver or updates stuff on windows 10.

Suposinly not drivers related, since Acer logo also not out. After boot only load Windows stuff

This happened to me after a particular windows update (can remember which).. The system was supposed to install the updates and restart the system, but got stuck.. I simply let it run as is for a couple minutes.. Then did a hard shutdown & rebooted.. All was well after that..

I'm guessing you've already tried the above method..? For me, wasn't related to the Nvidia drivers..

I think I am same as u did try some method:
1. Press key F12 + power
2. Keep shut down and restart

I did all method but still stuck in black screen.

Final solution, I will sent my laptop to service center at JB.

Sorry to hear that.. Have you tried using a windows boot repair USB? Create a bootable installation USB... Upon launch, there's an option within that allows you to fix the windows boot/system error.. Try that first.. Might save you the downtime and a trip to the service center.

bro, if you have logitech usb devices (like dongle for wireless mouse), remove before boot. cause i face that issue after update windows all the time. there is some conflict with logitech usb drivers and windows 10.

Hmm, you might be onto something there.. I have a Logitech wireless combo MK520R dongle permanently connected, cuz external display... So far, it's been okay and system recovers nicely and with the dongle still in place.. knocks on wood..

Send my laptop to server center at JB.
They found that motherboard got problem require to replace.
Next business day they manage fix the problem.

Does anyone know how much to replace the cover laptop. The paint on corner side keep peering off.

I have it for 1.5 year. Now the battery life drop from 1 hour+ to 30-45min.

Had it for more or less the same time period.. But still able to get about 3 hours out of the battery. Of course, not gaming.. Just regular usage, web browsing, Office apps, videos, etc.

Should be 2280 size, non pcie type. at least for mine, which is more thn a year old
