QUOTE(ultra_nyamuk @ Jun 12 2015, 02:37 PM) i think yes.. only extra 300? hmm...just realised it is only a minor improvement to gtx860 in terms of graphic quality... im a noob here... gtx 860 or gtx 960 makes no difference to the heat of the laptop right?

To my knowledge, its only a minor improvement, performance wise and so far, makes no difference towards heating. PM me if you are interested in picking up the i7-4720HQ with GTX860M.

QUOTE(zuhaili87 @ Jun 11 2015, 11:49 PM) 51'C-52'C is quite normal for V Nitro bro. Yeah, I know its quite normal and perfectly fine with that. Just the slight warmth under the fight side palm-rest area. Apparently, its where the hard disk resides.

Its really a minor improvement and ive read some review stated 960 runs hotter than 860.

Mine previously around 40'ish Celcius. So i guess thats the reason the palm area gets warm a lil bit. Bad cooling design i suppose.

I scare it expand lol because without charging, I feel its so laggy Nah... Mine is like plugged in all the time. Of course, I did a few battery full charges and depletion to properly calibrate its readings. Once stable, hovering the mouse over the power icon, you'll notice "**% available (plugged in, not charging)". Hi guys!!! I would like to ask a few question about acer v15 nitro 1. Isnt using this method (device manager> battery> disable microsoft APCI-Compliant Control Method battery) will increase the battery life? 2. Isnt that dust defender and cooler boost techonolgy is just for acer v17 nitro because i checked acer's official website said that acer v nitro series laptop had this feature. 3. Is that any other ways to extend battery life for built-in battery laptop ? Hopefully anyone can answer my question and thank you very much if you answer it. Thank you~

So try to update graphics drivers and system updates and see if it improves.

Definitely falls under warranty as long as you can prove it to them when dropping it off and also, no hardware modifications have been done on the laptop.

Try follow the method to reduce temp at the first post.
