No such issue for me, this is on wifi 6 behind a brick wall
Maybe change your router?
Still, I tried the stock Kaon
Even that can push the full subscribed speed no problem

Contacted Maxis via Twitter to re-subscribe for public ip as TIME's China routing is pure junk and I'll need to VPN back.

I remember last time I receive the configuration immediately when contacting through call and live chat, this time already 4hrs in and still waiting

I thought of switching to Allo after contract ended, however I've seen people mentioning their service in Johor is incredibly unreliable, DC multiple times a week

Guess I'm going to stick with Maxis

Been using Maxis for 2 years, Unifi and Time 1 year
So far, my Maxis only DC-ed twice since installation, first being a fiber cut and 2nd is nationwide outrage. Unlike Unifi I've never encountered service upgrade related DC.
Routing wise, Maxis is better than Time to China
Gaming thou, Unifi gets better ping if I'm playing on NA server
Overall, I would get Maxis over Unifi, especially when promotion is around.

No issue on torrenting what so ever, full speed no problem

BTW, Maxis used to be tight on erm... "naughty websites", even FAST/Google DNS couldnt bypass
But recently they quietly removed the restriction, so if you are a frequent user of certain hub...
Just change to 3rd party DNS and you are good to not following NNN

Last time a Maxis agent gave me RM20*24 months discount on the 300Mbps plan, right around December 2021
It decreased the price from RM149 to 129, RM137 ish with 6% SST
Was haunted by Unifi's bad routing during MCO, and I was only a year in
Ended up dropping Unifi and went with Maxis due to routing issues and not that much on the discount, so far so good

I got plenty of ISPs to choose around here, Unifi/Digi/Maxis/Allo/ViewQuest/Astro/Umobile
But I think I will stick with Maxis, as I know they are reliable

About the RM68 offer SIM card they've offered last month, I've just asked their CS for some details.

For this plan there is no contract tied and yes, it is free for 3 months as per stated

So just use it for 3 months free then cancel lah tongue.gif

According to their WhatsApp chatbot, need to wait for 48hrs not 24

Received mine just now, restarted router for at least 3 times
Download speed still 300Mbps, upload is now 100Mbps
Now my router is not discoverable anymore, dropped off the net or something is wrong with public ip rclxub.gif
400KM away, nothing much I can do
