My RM20*24 Months Y Access fee discount just got removed by Maxis at 20 months

Now I'm paying RM157.85 instead of the discounted RM136.75 for 300Mbps

Still waiting for their explanations, at the moment they said my contract has ended

But I register on 29 of December 2021, so not quite there yet

Unifi's new discounted price
Looking at you, Maxis

My contract will end this December, so I'm open to options
Hope Maxis either give me a promo plan with TV, or a speed upgrade

Similar situation here, I'm staying in condo with TIME while my parent's house is on Maxis 300mbps at the moment
Speed upgrade is sweet, but free public ip or add on RM1 to grab a TV is better

Should be, and I hate their method of using rebates for 24 months instead of proper discount like Unifi
Like Maxis is trying to tie us for another 24 months with no actual commitment after that

Yeah, I'm not happy seeing this
But from what my agent told me, might have something else on the way

Regardless, Maxis feels so much more... money faced than TM
Charging RM10 per month extra for public IP, giving 24 months rebate instead of proper discount like TM
And the annual mobile outage...

Even thought their routing is way better than TM, I just dont feel comfortable renewing my contract under such a company

Got some updates from my Maxis dealer friend, details compiled here

Unifi stopped providing Mesh WiFi, no more try me free 30 days, no more 3-6 months free speed upgrade

30Mbps
Unifi: No more, existing user will be upgraded to 100Mbps for RM89
Maxis: No more, but reserved for certain locations with special price (VDSL only)

100Mbps
Unifi: Existing users will be upgraded to 300Mbps, price remains the same, RM89 for new sub, no more WiFi 6 router
Maxis: Price lowered to RM89 for existing users, no speed upgrade, WiFi 6 for new sub

300Mbps
Unifi: Existing users will be upgraded to 500Mbps, price remains the same. For new sub RM139, with WiFi 6 router
Maxis: Price lowered to RM129 for existing users, speed remains the same, new sub RM129

500Mbps
Unifi: Existing user will be upgraded to 800Mbps, price remains the same, new sub RM159, with WiFi 6 router
Maxis: Price lowered to RM159 for existing users, speed remains the same

So if you are users with RM20*24 months rebate (300mbps at least)
Basically your bill will remains the same

The only "promotion" I've got from Maxis so far
Anyway, if I terminate Maxis after contract has ended, do I need to return both router and ONT? I'm on TM infra
