QUOTE(poh880 @ Jul 13 2018, 12:36 AM) The problem is TM open up the port speed to Maxis or not? If TM open up the port speed to Maxis also, then only Maxis can do adjustment to it or else nothing they can do about it. Most of their customers are under TM control. No speed increase also ok but price put rm79 for 30mbps |

QUOTE(oldies1950 @ Jul 17 2018, 06:41 PM) Then ... I wait for my neighbor to have his UNIFI bum up to the new speed. If u kamcing with ur neighboor, better share 800mbps with 4 house, left right rearThen, get unifi using another name. Stop paying MAXIS. They will cut of you don't pay after 7 days of deadline. Then wait for their Lawyer letter .... 800mbps for sure more than enough |

QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Jul 17 2018, 07:45 PM) Lol, but you can’t rely on 2.4GHz, and only 5GHz, and the wireless coverage of the 5GHz is very low, so don’t expect to be able to enjoy the full 800Mbps, if you are not connected to 5GHz. Your devices must also be able to support that speed. 2.4g enough aldy as long payment divide by 4Obj is cheaper not speed |

QUOTE(attw @ Aug 20 2018, 05:39 PM) Does maxis still throttle P2P or torrent speed? If not, they can take my money now 129 for 100MBPS is a steal QUOTE(jusbella @ Aug 20 2018, 05:42 PM) Nope, mytorrent 24/7 still can get 3.7mbps for 30mbps pakejQUOTE(imalmighty @ Aug 20 2018, 10:12 PM) UPDATE:just reached their customer service, if existing user want to change plan, u can fill up the form anytime, and ur contract would be refreshed for another 24 months, no timeframe and no surcharge implemented for u to decide whether to downgrade to NEW plan with better pricing. RM 10 surplus for both iflix and unlimited VoIP(only 30M). - how about upload speed for 100mbps ?Most subscribers are stuck between sticking to original plan and wait for speed bump, or downgrade to better pricing. Regarding speed upgrade, still no news at the moment. The speed upgrade mostly likely done like TM fashion, which is automatic, 10x and no contract renewal. Imo, the 24 months recontract is unfair absolutely. It's meant to protect their own best interest, they implement this to refrain you from jumping towards lower tier plan which in turn reduce their earnings per month. - rm89 for 30mbbps got cap like TM only 60gb |
