planning to cut my unifi and sign up maxis fiber

is there any shopback or cashback or signup bonus?

why the router always hang and i need to turn off and on again
izzit too many device connect?
so far only 4

I'm not alone 
I think the LAN controller will locked up in some point. 1 PC ok and right after I connect the router to another switch, it locked up.

i been using also 4 port max  and uplink with gigabit switch so far no problem

ok I diagnose 5G & Lan is no issue
only 2G channel having problem
then I change the network name
now seem good
will continue monitor

anyone manage to upgrade to better router rather than this v1200?
it seem maxis one prime/business router is better

it seem the router have problem with the hang
it require some tweak I guess

did anyone turn on the QOS?
is this working ?

What type of modem you all using..can try share out

some i read even got to new nokia modem

the router is just right beside me.

I have also just applied for the Maxis Home Broadband 30Mbps. Seems many people have issues with Maxis connection.

since the installation is not done yet and Maxis installer has not phone me for appointment, if now I decided not to proceed with the installation, would there be any penalty charged to me? Anyone has the same experience before?

Switch Back to TG389AC my backup router  yesterday monitor until now.looks like more stable than TP-link

my TG389AC firmware is 17.1 and has been running 77 days since last reboot
it is why i hold on the TPlink replacement until Maxis has better solution

Why the weekly reboot? Just reboot the c5v, or including the modem?

Anyone here managed to flash other firmware on C5v. I know it is a OEM model, but still the internals are similar to a retail version router. If anyone has been successful pls share the steps.

I'm planning to replace their default tplink with this tplink, TP-Link Archer VR600V

same concept i guess but much better than no external anthena. Plus, isp firmware kind bad for me, before this i have successful upgrade the firmware on default that tm streamyx silver colour. Unless, tplink launch their latest firmware for C5v soon, then should be better one than our isp firmware.
