file a complain to mcmc, the only way to speed up the case

iPV6 can be disabled on maxis router via terminal i guess, but not dare to mess up... this should be done by maxis instead

Hello guys, it's time we create an action group.

This group should be named MAXIS FUCK, short name for Maxis Ftth Users Action Group KL.

Maxis has a representative overlook this thread, but he keep quiet on this iPV6 issue(which affected all users), not updating status or anything, trying to sweep it under the carpet.

Maxis will never learn their lessons even with their handphone ugly episode. It's high time to teach them some lessons on customer service.

Planning to highlight this one the main page.. send me some screenshots please

se7en@lowyat.net

thanks

What screenshots to show? There is nothing to show.

Just the website is not showing.

Someone already log a report to Maxis last Friday.

Report # C19194154.... everyone, call maxis customer service and ask about the status of this report

Maxis already well informed about this iPV6 issue, but keep quiet like nothing happen.

If you go to 192.168.1.254, you can see clearly iPV6 has been added, and this is the culprit.

I am not sure other users issue.

However, mine is definitely iPV6 issue.

If you use PC or Laptop, you can disable the iPV6 and everything working.

However, if you're using tablet and handphone, there is no setting to disable iPV6 and you will be facing problems surfing ton of websites.

Nowadays, most people surfing websites via tablet and handphone.

Restricting to PC/laptop only is really not an acceptable solution.

So the temporary solution is disable IPv6?
*
Yes, disable on your PC or Laptop. But you still cannot surf from tablet or handphone.

I just called and managed to catch a technician, after many days and many tries.

They can do it at the router level, but need to go to the Administrator and reset the router all over again.

So I tell them no need, I'll give them until next week. If by next week still cannot only I call them back to do the reset from the router.

If you want, you can call them, say you want to do it from the router, the technician will guide you. But be careful, anything wrong, you're without internet. Make sure you're good technically and have no problem doing the reset via phone guide.

LMAO. Maxis's IPV6 doesn't work on third party router. No wonder I don't have any issues. But I am facing a very severe Packet Loss issue. Called Maxis and they say I'm not using their router. Told them many many times my Maxis router is already dead still insisted that they can fix it for me.
*
wah, like this also can ah?

luckily i not reset my router to disable iPV6, then I may got packet loss like yours(even though i use maxis router)

super teruk this maxis

Finally maxis fiber is working on lyn xD
*
Because they have totally scrapped the iPV6

If you see from your router, no more IPV6 addresses

They cannot solve and do not know how to solve, so end up scrapping the iPV6 all together

If they still use the IPV6, it'll be the same, not working

LOL. Didn't they test it before they start implementing the IPV6 to their customers? What a bad move Maxis.
*
That is why I said, the Maxis CTO should be fired!

Why you implement the iPV6 without testing?

What kind of IT team doing such irresponsible job?

More worrying is taking whole week also cannot solve the problem.

We are dealing with highly incompetent team in Maxis FTTH.

Will probably move back to Maxis Fibre next year when we move houses again. Kinda regret terminating Maxis for Time late last year (forfeiting the perpetual discount for RM118, but well, I wouldn't have got the experience of torrenting at 100 mbps speed smile.gif
*
You meant Maxis is better than Time?

What is the problem with Time?

Thank you for the notification bro. I don't seem to be receiving any messages about service interruptions from Maxis usually, and I end up troubleshooting for a decent amount of time, before realizing that the fault is on Maxis.
*
This is 1st time I got such message, after so many long years and unnecessary sufferings.

I hope the Maxis representative here can give notice about such update in the future.

Wanna ask, for us who stay in condo/apartment, using the existing phone line, if not mistaken, only up to 50Mbps

So all this 10 times is useless lah, right?

Don't worry.. New government new rules, basically every business is top priority now.
*
Nothing to do with new govt rules... it's the bloody attitude from both end, Maxis and Telekom!

The service term is always about providing "best effort" which is subjective.

Every business is top priority? Dream on when it comes to you know who and what....
