QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Jan 26 2015, 01:04 PM) When the tyre shop first recommended this brand 4 years ago, i almost ptui at his face. after 4 years, your XM2 no sign of any cracks (harden issue) ???I did my research on Internet, this tyre was rated higher than Michelin PS3 (note: that was 4 years ago). Ultra high performance tyre at much much cheaper rate. Then I grabbed my balls and decided to give it a try. Wow... I stick to this since then. It is not better than PS3. But close performance. But with that price, I have no complaint. The tyre generates low noise too, unlike other ultra performance tyres tend to be noisy. P/S I was told It is OEM manufacturer for YOKOHAMA. This OEM develop their own brand and name it Neuton. |

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Jan 26 2015, 02:41 PM) Last I used XM2 was like 6-7 years ago. No crack at the time until it went botak. If my memory serves me right, after XM2, I used Toyo C1S, then Hankook V12, then PS3. Then, Neuton NT5000 all the way for 2 years+. |

After XM2, I used few other tyres. Shop recommended Neuton 4 years ago. I didn't use it when the shop 1st introduced. I takut when I heard ciplak brand. I did some research. I only used it the next tyre change. That's 2 years+ ago. |

QUOTE(fakhree @ Jan 26 2015, 04:34 PM) Actually depends on your style of driving.-Some just city driving, so better stick to those tires like Eco Low Rolling ones, max fuel savings, and thread life -Some like high speed driving and max safety, and care less about noise and wear, do they pick Ultra High Performance tires like PS3, S Drive, V12, T1Sport etc -Some want more than that, they are Kaki corner, they dun care about noisy tire or wear, or Fuel Consumption, they will go for those high grippy AD08R, R1R, RS3, RS-R. But drive slow in the rain pls |

QUOTE(fakhree @ Jan 26 2015, 04:50 PM) I had a few run-ins with less Premium tires. This is my opinion, every tires got pro and con. But for tires like GT radial, Neuton, Corsa, Achilles, Nexen, even Hankook may have some good characters that equal more expensive tires, but the ' finesse' is not there. Example a grippy tire like Hankook RS3 may have similar grip with the Advan AD08R which is more expensive, but it feel rough and not fine tuned. |

Michelin is so far the best for me. Better than Falken, Sime Tyres and Continental.
