Found this silica glass coating which is quite reasonable from cx5 member group,

For our sedan size, it will be

A. Nano Diamond coat with 18 month warranty is RM488. Comes with 5 steps Meguiars polish + 2 layer nano diamond(7H)

B. Quartz coat with 36 month warranty is RM 750.Comes with 6 steps Meguiars polish + 3 layer Quartz(9H)+ full glass/windscreen coat

yearly maintanence will cost you rm 120.

Any other coating where your can share? I might consider opt for one.

anyone noticed before go up to any hill, slow down/stop your car, then u try to accelerate your car. It seems like it takes some time(~2sec) to get into "power" to get up to hill. Anyone experience this? Or is this because of their linearity drives?

yes its the linear drive thingy, noticed first also when i started driving

but now i notice the "lag" is less, could be due to the ECU learning ur driving style and reduce the "linearity" of the acceleration

yes, linearity drives for sky-activ engine & gearbox, also something they called it as lack of power as some Mazda 3 reviews.
either u need to heavy foot on pedal to get the power or switch to manual to get control the gear to get better power.

"lag" can easily obvious when car going to slow down and yet completely stop. Then, accelerate because the traffic light turns to green, u will feel the power abit "lag" to move ur car.

btw, bsc of linearity acceleration, when drive at highway, u will feel the acceleration is fast and smooth to speed up and reach top speed. Very Fun to drive

LOL the driver doorside sticker recommends tire pressure of 36psi & 33psi at the front & rear respectively for 3 adults, which is way too stiff for me.

My car was 38psi at the front & 40psi at the rear when I collected my car. Tried to lowered it down to 34 at the front & 32 at the back, still very stiff and bumpy, and now at 33 at the front & 31 at the rear much better now. haha

actually the MZD Connect is pretty much the same with the Mazda 3 1 so not really fresh.  laugh.gif

You can also restart by pressing and holding Mute + Nav + Back for 10 seconds. hmm.gif

GST is no doubt just 2 weeks away, but fat luck getting a red sedan immediately on early April since all deliveries from Thailand has been temp stopped for now due to the transition of SST to GST. So obviously the sa skl as the next batch of cars will only be imported from April onwards, and with the backlog of the demand to fulfilled, the ppl that has made the booking recently got some time to wait for their turn.
