Any of you guys running Here Drive+ on your Windows Phone 10? Is the map as updated as the Android version of Here Maps?

The reason I'm asking because the Here Drive+ running on Windows 8.1 Denim is clearly outdated in term of Map Data update compared to Android version of Here Maps.

I can understand (I'm not saying that it is okay) that normal apps like Opera browser etc are on a primitive side, compared to Android version. Perhaps because they need to do the hard work making it running natively on Windows Phone OS.

But when it comes to Here Drive+ it is just a Map Data for crying out loud! Why can't we have the same updated Map Data as the Android version?

Are we Windows Phone users being neglected now?

Microsoft really need to look into this seriously if there are to stay in this line of business. Having less number of apps is one bad thing, but having outdated/primitive apps and Data (compared to other platforms) is really quite another.

I use windows maps app on windows 10 because it is also using data from HERE maps and it has better UI fit to windows 10 and more features
here drive app is not ready for windows 10, it's slow on windows 10, crash on some device, i think HERE hasn't update the app for windows 10. I didn't notice any difference between the data on android and windows, it could also because of my area hasn't got many changes, but so far I have no complain using windows maps app. if you have windows 10 pc, you can try it out

yes, apps are limited in Windows 10 mobile, more so those which support the continuum feature.
but at the same time, i can also see the potential.

for example, with proper virtualization software, the phone and the dock can work as good client "semi-PC", with most of the processing being done / completed at the cloud / server side.

This continuum features is one of the Ubuntu phone concept which is very interesting.
The biggest challenge is make the developers believe in this part.
But the most important of all, Microsoft must stop changing the game of Windows Phone. Rapid changing is not good. Imagine you have built an apps for Windows phone but later Microsoft said the standard need to be changed and then they change again and again. From WP 7, 8, to 10. All are using different concept in a way that piss off developer to keep supporting the OS.

Apparently available from the US store only for the moment. I had no trouble setting region and language to English/US, so it shouldn't be a serious issue (you'd need that to activate Cortana anyway).
