Anyone having problems with mobile hotspot? The connection literally dies off a few seconds later (w/o showing any connections even though the other device says it's connected)

It also annoyingly turns on my WiFi when I want to switch it off while the hotspot takes forever to "disconnect" in the action center.

use network data only when checking for updates
then it will ask you whether you want to continue downloading the update using metered connections

Hey guys, first time visiting WP forums on LYN. 2 year+ 1520 owner here, just updated to W10M. Built-in stopwatch and timer, FINALLY!

You guys have any idea what the secondhand 1520 demand is like? Haha.

I have 1520 too
secondhand demand is not really high, it's a 3 yrs old phone
but if you are willing to let go at attractive price, I'm sure someone will be interested

I've been using the fast ring for few months already. Is is best to continue or revert back to default 8.1 then only do the upgrade ?

If you have the latest update using Windows Insider, you do not need to revert and then update. This is because the update is the same one whether you are in insider or not.

Yup, that version is exactly the same as my Lumia 930 with the official Windows 10 Mobile update (this phone is not enrolled in Insider program)

Just afraid that there's lots of unused leftover files though.

Windows 10 Mobile will follow Windows 10 on PC. It is Windows As A Service now with continuous updates. If you don't want to participate can opt out.

Hi super newbie here, Using Lumia 735
I had several issues downloading WP10 using Upgrade Advisor
First try, it needed extra 900mb internal space. eventhough i had 1.4gb free.

So i hard reset my phone, nothing else i could clear. space taken up by emails. (1gb+)
Ran all the 8.1 updates..
Then i tried again. but it gave me the "working with your carrier service to deliver" yada2..
tried Windows insider app, couldn't connect, ask me to check time/date etc2..

what should i do to update to WP10? cry.gif
Thanks

To be clear, check what service provider is your phone under. You can do so by going to Settings > System > About.
