Hi, would like to check with all the experts here as I am bit confused with the transportation systems in Japan.
I have checked the transport from Koyasan to Kiyomizu-Gojo through Hyperdia and one of most preferred routes with 3 transfer is as per the pictures shown. I am a bit confused at the Tennoji station which is still on the Osaka Loop Line but it said the arrival track is 11 and departure track 12. So do I need to transfer at this station? It still the same train that ride through Kobayashi right? |

Hi jefferenelee. Yes, you gotta change train. It means you will reach Tennoji platform 11 at 9:32 and then you have to catch the 9:33 train at platform 12 to continue your journey.

But why need to transfer train since it's still on Osaka Loop Line (Inner Loop)? It's seems not practical to transfer train within one minute. I think it's the same train somehow coz there are two arrows pointing to the next station. Those station that require transfer is showing the "T" symbol. |

Loop doesn't mean the Train are moving 360 degree. If you see the Map properly. Osaka Station was at 12 O'clock and Tennoji Station was 6 O'Clock. Each train only run 180 degree.Even Tokyo Yamamote Line also same. It was a loop line but the train won't run 360. Inner and Outer loop just run 180 This post has been edited by RegentCid: Apr 19 2015, 08:55 PM |

You only need to purchase the ticket from Shinimamiya to Kyobashi (Osaka) which is JPY180. Check out the attached image. Track 11 and 12 are just side by side. You should be able to make it in a minute.Attached thumbnail(s) |
