hi SFF sifus... just curious about the Level51 Impulse SFF PC. wanted to get ur opinions on it as i cant find any reviews of the case especially. quite curious about thermals with the below specs and also if there are 2.5" SSD slots. no idea wat PSU provided as well. RAM and SSD also no mention wat model/brand.

if space wasn't a concern, I would get the Jonsbo A4 Ver1.1 case, its a lil bit bigger, but can fit AIO dual rads for the cpu & gpu - top & bottom

they didnt say what psu kan? this will be the most painful price to pay for tho the sfx psu.. corsair 450w gold should do it, for about rm450-500

that id-cooling is40x for rm100 is a joke... add about rm50-70 more i can get axp90 full copper

i actually found a review of the impulse (with diff specs)...no mention of the PSU, but there was a shot in the video and could see that it was using a 600w FSP Dagger.

can see a shot of the GPU at 1.37 with the PSU at the background.


as for price, i actually made up a matx setup (in spoiler below) with same specs and it comes up to roughly the same but price not included shipping yet though so theres that to consider.

with itx stuff typically being more expensive (especially case and PSU) i thought the price was pretty good when compared to my matx build....which i found surprising coz ive always thought SFF parts are a rather steep increase in price....hence the interest

better u get a 1tb sx8200

casing dont cheapen out.. thats my advice..get something alu .. jonsbo.. phantek evolv shift etc..

Yo wassap guys, trying to find a better case and cooling. Right now am using Node 202 with an 2600 with the stock cooler, now my gpu is nice and cool but it's abit loud with the cooler master pwm fans I'm using as an intake.

I'm trying to buy a new case and cooler and new fans as well I guess for a quieter and abit cooler processor temps.

Current idle temps for proc is 48-50c, GPU idle is 38-40c

Was eyeing RVZ03 but somehow nobody carries them anymore.

Hmmm 700, I was thinking of something around 400 range. But need to look at the size also since I'm gonna carry the rig around much since I'm still studying.

I would avoid Evolv Shift since the temps & airflow are not good. AIO is a MUST in that case

also, the so-called "aluminium" is only front and rear panel (quite a hefty one also) but the main structure is made of steel. add a pair of thick tempered glass panels and you'll get a very heavy case

I would rather recommend something like Raijintek Ophion Mini (or the Ophion Evo, if you want 240mm AIO cooler support)

RVZ03 is too bulky in my opinion to be considered as "slim" case. I would prefer ML08 or RVZ02 but these are very old case (much older than the said RVZ03) and availability is a big issue too

May I know what CPU coolor did you choose for your build? Also, where did you buy your SG13 case? Is it from Shopee?

if you're planning to carry this around, you might want to avoid tempered glass panels at all cost but if you still want to show of the internals, better opt for those with acrylic panels instead

maybe can have a look in Taobao for Metalfish S3 Plus (or the S3, if you want to push the size further down at a cost of flex PSU)

Oh I don't care about showing off internals, I was looking at the Greek A50 is that any good? Or should I just get a ML08 from a friend of mine since he's not using it anymore. The reason why I was looking into the RVZ03 is because it can fit 83 mm or below cpu cooler.

if you're okay with the all-acrylic exterior than you should be fine with the Geeek A50 case

whoa ML08 is a rare gem nowadays. that's one of the case I looked up back then before deciding to go for Node202, mainly due to availability (both RVZ02 and ML08 are no stock everywhere)
