Yep. I decided to choose only about 30% of my MOC for this exhibition (easier to transport there) and Optimus Prime is definitely one of my top picks (since everybody recognise this bot)

Not many active Technic owners here. It depends what model you want to mod or build from scratch ?
Also, if you have the end-model or guide, normally there is a list of parts you need.
Then perhaps forumers can give their advise/suggestion.

well, yesterday and today i do visit shell station, and still have stocks for the 1st lego
maybe just the shell that i visit (the shell that next to highway/big petronas that have natural gas for NGV nearby bukit jalil)

i think minimum wound be a remote, a battery box, a receiver, and 2 motor (of course, u can add more part)
it will need your imagination to make it RC

not to forgot those batteries as well

No matter what it becomes, I for one definitely will thread carefully before buying it.

Lego releases are just not worth betting on, because they keep improving on their set designs.

Shell Lego

First thing first, Lego RC crawls at 1-2 feet per second, do not compare to those real RC toy cars.

Here's a starting point. Most of Technic mods need to do some own test build to find the parts needed first, as they don't have full instructions.
Then only see whether to buy a box or parts.
As in the video above, it's quite informative already on the major parts and locations (at least to me).

For shell lego, anyone done the maths?

For a regular ron95 user, is it worth pumping vpower for rm9.90 lego or pump ron95 pay rm13.90 lego

More or less, give and take, the same.

You pump in RM40/RON95, More liters compared to Ron 97, while you buy at rm13.90.

You pump in RM40/RON97, Less liters compared to Ron 95,while you buy at rm9.90.

In conclusion, shell Malaysia will still untung .

But at least is one way to prevent scalpers from hogging the stocks compared to nano block.
